Back from ENT appointment (again)

When I first walked in, I wanted to read my story. He wouldn't let me. He asked me what I felt. I kept on trying to read my story, but I only got through 2 paragraphs. He said I have no physical symptoms and did a hearing test on me, which was fine. He said I am going to have to understand that no doctor will be able to treat me as it's inside and I can still function and move around. He said it's not affecting my life, and I will live be 100 so don't worry about it.

He said I can go in for an MRI agian after a few months if I wanted too.

He did prescribe me with NO FLUSH NIACIN vitamin B3 in 800mg. He said it helps blood circulation and movement which might help with the (buzzing) and other symptoms. He said I could just be over sensitive to many things and it triggers my symptoms. He wasnt very open, though at least he told me about vitamin B3.

I don't know what else to say. I think I have ran out of options as he said no one else will be able to treat me. He did say to switch jobs, and because of the person I am to go into something more "intellectually stimulating".

I'm sorry to read in your post that he said no one else would be able to treat you. It looks like he implied that you have an overactive imagination .

I hope the vitamins help you. I know you will find the right person to treat your symptoms. The name may not have an "MD" behind it, but there are wonderful people out there practicing non-traditional medicine.

Hello KR,

Don't let that quack ENT discourage you. He isn't even aware of how uninformed he is. It's up to you now. If you go to another doctor, be sure not to mention his name as he may have written DOP on your records.

There is so much information on this forum that should help you. The natural medicinal remedies that you would not have known about without reading through these posts.

I thank God for this forum, which has helped me keep my sanity through all of this. I seriously don't know what I would have done had I not found it.

Just keep reading and keep trying different things. Soon we will know what it's all about and how to treat it specifically.

I don't think he put that on my file. I told him that if he walked into my business and I sold him something and gave him a good deal on it, and talked to him like I do everyone else, he would be love to come back because of the way I treated him.

Once I told him I'm a salesman and have my own business he seemed to like that idea and status.

He said I am over sensitive to many things, such as dust and much more. The niacin will help to circulate the blood around more and get to my brain.

Could it be that I have an over active immune system and that many things bother me, such as light and dust?

Yes I can live with it, but I really don't want to. Yeah, I can walk and talk and function but not 100% like I could be.

O yeah, when I brought up the lyme disease. He said Most certainly NOT. Right away he seemed very confident that it's not Lyme disease.
