I still believe as I did in the beginning, that all US medical personnel need to be aware of Morgellons Disease.
The CDC needs to release an alert to them that they are conducting a study of Morgellons, and they need to describe the symptoms of the condition.
It was at the urging of our US Senators and Congressmen that the CDC decided to conduct this study.
Today I have contacted all of the ones in my district, requesting that they contact the CDC.
I have taken a different route to contact them this time, in hopes of receiving favorable replies.
I also edited the letter that I had previously sent out, by drastically reducing the content, eliminating details, getting right to the point in as few words as possible, and taking out the emotion.
For some reason, my first letter was misunderstood, and replies from them referred to animal cloning, which I never mentioned in my letter. I believe that the length and detail of my letter may be what led to the misunderstanding.
We need others to contact Senators and Congressmen.
The method I used was simple, fast, and by way of an online web site. If you would be willing to help with this, please pm me, and I will send you the link, and show you what I wrote, if you are interested. If each one of us only sent out one letter, it would amount to quite a bit of exposure.
If you are a nurse, you can post information on Morgellons Disease on nursing web sites. This will help, as many nurses are unaware of the condition. The nursing profession has been the hardest hit. Teachers come in second, with nurses 3 times higher. I believe I now know why.
Allnurses.com would be a good place to start.
I recently contacted the NIH and asked them if they have a way to notify all US medical personnel in the event that there occurred an outbreak of disease, and they wrote back and said yes. (I knew they did.) Now I will write back and request they notify them of Morgellons. I don't see why we can't all drop them a fast web mail as well, requesting that they notify them.

Karen Anne.... well done and thanks. Look under Lyme Disease and you'll see it's not only Morgellons but the co-related Lyme Disease that many of us have that has it's problems with the biased authorities. Hilly

Yes, it is indeed a problem. And a frustrating one at that.
I was pleasantly surprised this morning to find that I have email from one of the Senators I contacted yesterday.
He says that the department of health would be able to notify medical personnel, and he forwarded my letter to them.
He stated "I must confess that the existence of this disease is news to me."
I was so happy he didn't write back telling me that he is keeping an eye on the animal cloning issue like the previous replies I received from others. <rolleyes>
Has anyone called their local departments of health ?
