| Coincidentally (not!) is Carnicom's investigations of chem-trails and documentation of correspondence with and letters sent to government officials and the United States Air Force going back almost ten years ago, before he had a clue what Morgellons is. www.carnicom.com/responses.htm Now, we wonder why the US Air Force is involved in the CDC/Kaiser Permanente investigation of Morgellons. Hmmm, anything to do with the air we are breathing? kmar (hi!, nice to meet you). You work with Mark Darrah, right? I believe Mark and Clifford could really find some answers quickly if we could get the two of the together. In the white light, ~jonsi

| I have always felt that the military labs involved are due to needing to compare morgellons to what THEY created! JMHO I have a very hard time trusting the government. Yes Jonsi.............. I do post for Mark and he is a great guy with good morals. Wants this disaster to end for all of us and truly cares about the people on these boards. I was Kmarie on here, but forgot my password and had to use Kmar and open a new account. |

| I believe that the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology is involved with Kaiser Permanent research into Morgellons, not the Air Force per se. Doubtless all branches of the service would be represented as it would take a lot of manpower for one branch to run such an institute. Here is the page which gives the biographies of the leadership at the institute, civilian as well as military, all from different branches (do not see the marines) and seem to show diversity at this institute: http://www.afip.org/leadership.htm

Or USAF?

| I thought that everyone on this thread might like to read what I found out about AFIP. Of particular interest is the mention that they focus mostly on rare diseases and have a large collection of lesion information. So if they actually do study the lesions and do not try to sweep the study under the rug, perhaps something will match up some place with something which is already known. They also deal with infectious and parasitic diseases. Hopefully an answer will be forthcoming soon. Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) - Welcome "The Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) was founded in 1862 as the Army Medical Museum. It is located in Washington, DC on the grounds of the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Its primary mission is second opinion diagnostic consultations on pathologic specimens that are usually difficult to diagnose due to their rarity or their variation from the ordinary. These cases have resulted in a unique repository of lesions, numbering over three million, that have been the basis of major pathological studies. The AFIP's diagnostic departments are based mainly on organ sites, e.g. skin, liver, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, pulmonary, soft tissue, bone, hematological, neurological, endocrine and gynecological pathology. In addition, there are specialty departments dealing with infectious and parasitic diseases, molecular techniques and environmental pathology. As all of these specialties are located in one institution, there is close interaction between its departments in analyzing complex cases." Last edited by tcmgpt13; December 5th, 2008 at 06:56 PM. |
