I dont see anything sticking out of my skin really.

But I have seen tiny filaments in the bath water,
and I have seen tiny filaments sticking out of the tops
of these zit like things I can extrude from my skin.

My friend surprised me with a facial, I didn't know how to refuse,
and I found out that one part of the facial is "extrusion" this means
someone else squeezes your black heads. Let me know if you
want me to give you a facial anyone, I am an expert.

Oh yeah, could be. I have spoken to a few intuitive people and the first thing they say is mould, fungus, is a BIG problem in me. I have strnge things that stick out of skin. Some I can scratch off, some are deep. They look like an egg with a tail. Some are like flakes, but sharp. Theres alot going on with us.

Also my plants are affected by this disease. I have to bathe or wipe them weekly or they get a white powdery film!! And root rot too. Strange but true. Thankyou for your post it rings true for me.

Did have a run in at aprtment with water trouble??!!

Cindi, I have tried for almost three years to grow rododendron on my property. They are just beautiful evergreens with the most beautiful flowers in the spring and summer!! I planted three in my daughters landscaping in 2005, the year this plague hit me, and we have to replant every year. Two survived this winter, but there is one spot that has had three planted in it, and they always die.

Well Natalie and Niecy,

This kind of resembles what comes shooting out of my scalp and face. and the egg thing with a tail like thing sounds very familiar.

The plant connection very possible. The apartment leak all I can say is that is what started all this for me were multiple leak issues in our home that happened to happen very close together in time without our immediate knowledge because they could not be seen unless you went out of you way looking for them.

I did plant canna's a few years ago and have since pulled some do to root issues who knows. I guess I should revisit this again. It seems worthy. Hey Niecy you had described something with your scalp and face this week does it stick out kind of like this or just does not look like your hair at all?

Cindi hey and how are ya??

These black or brown things are NOT hairs. They are less than a quarter of an inch long, and stubby on both ends. If you look close enough they sort of look like they have strips of what would be on a branch. I got some water on one last night on the sink in the bathroom, a white sink, and 3 or 4 of the little black thin things, that are hooked on one end or are like a simi circle came out of it.

They may stick out of the skin, but I only find them laying flat on the skin. I am the only person that these are on. I have a place on the left side of my back below my shoulder that has itched for almost three years without ever breaking the skin, and the other day after I had taken my Flagyl, there were several of them IN the fabric of my shirt in the spot that covered that part of my back. It was a 100% cotton shirt. They came out of me and went into the shirt, not vice versa. I also found several others scattered over the inside of the shirt.

I don't know what the heck it is guys, I am just trying to remember everything that I have done since right before this started............I am still very confused.

I bought a product at Wal-Mart when we were leaving Texas, in the ethnics department. The name of it is OLIVE OIL. It is organic, and says it is a root stimulator. It has a dark green top on it, and it's in a jar, about 2 1/2 inches in diameter, and about 2 inches tall. There is 4oz in the jar. I just put some of this on me starting day before yesterday, and there is ALL KINDS of stuff coming out.

There are sores that I have had for almost a year that it is just making everything slide off, they look like scars. You can see indentions in them, at least 2 in each of them, where whatever this is was at. Not promoting anything, and wouldn't dare even mention it if this were not happening. This stuff didn't cost but three dollars and some cents.

I have no doubts that what I have is systemic, so there's no way that something topical can cure it. But, I don't like running around with open sores on me with all the MRSA that's going on around the country.

Cindi, if I didn't get it answered like you are asking, please pm me and we can figure it out.

Niecy

I did a little shopping too, Niecy! I went into a (Mexican) grocery store in Austin and picked up some avocado oil. Used some on the lesions but didn't find any positive affects, (clogged pores, come on over seasprite!). I did feel splinter like objects poking out of my fingers though, sharp enough that it hurt and I had to dig them out.

Cindi, I thought the last part of your link was especially interesting:

Classification of Oomycetes

Traditionally, this group was thought to include types of fungi, and indeed fungi themselves were once believed to be closely related to plants. However, further research has concluded that this is not true and that fungi are more closely related to animals. Many species of Oomycetes are still described or listed as types of fungi and may sometimes be referred to as pseudofungi, or lower fungi. Oomycetes are actually members of the chromistans, which are in turn part of the larger Kingdom Protoctista.

And Natalie, my joya plant has the white fibers all over it and strange "dust" if I don't wash the leaves monthly. I started noticing this before I knew what Morgellons was. I was already sick though. This past month when I was sick again, I had white specks similar to dry skin coming out of my skin. I guess it might have looked like oomycetes. I'm feeling much better again so I can't compare to what isn't there.

Itwl,
~jonsi

Yes, yup, definitely, me too. Oh man, when are they gonna give in? The docs I mean. Its like a childish tug of war between us and them. Im seeing this in all of mankind. Anyone else? People just havent matured. And it started with our generation, for those of us in our 40s and 50s.

Ill chill out, sorry.

I have my 4 babies, they are plants. I tell them how wonderful they are and that Im sorry they are sick too. I wash the leaves and gently stroke them for further growth. All others have died in my care. These are the survivors. They give me hope! I saw the plants in distress about the time I just coudnt take another bout of scratching and infection back in the day. It was like a revelation! I saw the powdery stuff on them and said oh my God, Im not crazy. The cat and dof were sicker too. Throwing up, scratching, hair was dry, yet greasy? Everything pointed to a real problem.

I am so grateful for you guys and gals here. Who would we talk to? I use to write to myself, a diary, scraps of paper, still got them. I did write to doctors back in the day. What a mistake!!!

I bought a half gallon of Boston Creme Pie icecream. I ate 2 huge bowls and loved everyminute of it!! Within 15 minutes I had red welts on my chest and face. Itchy too. I put some yeast cream on them and it stopped itching. So I go to my psychiatrist appt. next day and this man is lovely, he says is that a fungal rash?? I love this guy. He is the only doctor I have who beleives me, encourages me, and writes it all down. He is the one who told me that my symptoms of choke throat could be a thyroid problem, even though PCP said NO. I went for years until someone found the Hypo problem. All due to this wonderful Psychiatrist.

Fungus is amoung us. Is it contagious? Like the ecoli?

Love you all, thankyou

Hi Everyone,

Niecy that are what mine look like. They look as if they have a hook. I think I might have that same scalp stuff you mentioned. Did it make your scalp worse before it got better? I had something today come out of my scalp that was at least 2 inches long and skinnier then the others. Wiggling up a storm like it wanted to get away. Under the microscope kind of either looks like fungus or a nematode not sure. Very depressed right now. I am finding the red and blue fibers wrapped with the clear everywhere. In the cats hair, my hair, on our sheets on our pillows. I can not tell they are those to colors though unless i use a magnifier or sometimes in bright light. I feel like they are taking over my head. I keep wondering if they are coming out of the water. I am sorry but the water just seams strange now when it hits the shower floor. It has for at least a year now. We also have this strange clear kind of goo you can see in the toilet after it has been flushed like I have never seen before. Looks like very thin clear strands almost or like the consistency of tapioca if that makes sense. I don't know I just know something is not right. Has anyone noticed a sudden issue with their dishwashers also not getting things clean anymore. We just rebuilt our because of this and now it is acting the same way again just 6 months later. We have City water not well water. Any Ideas. I know Kritters has been looking into to this so I am going to go read the latest post over there

Hi Cindi,

You might look into whole house water purifiers and then get one under the kitchen sink too, most likely the reverse osmosis type works best. There is a new one out which wastes less water, but the system is costly. Still if water purity is a problem (and frankly my alternative doctors say never use tap water) then it could be a good investment. Testing your water is not that costly and there are several companies where you can mail in a water sample and they will analyze your water in depth.
