Default A few questions I would eventually like answered when Morgellons puzzle solved

Why does this parasite react so strongly to moisture?

I've seen them float up into the air when my hands hit the water
when doing dishes.

They always come out right after skin dries from shower, massively.

I've even seen them float up into the air while eating from my MOUTH.

This must be a water borne parasite for it to react in such a way.

There are no mistakes in nature. This thing is just trying to survive.

So what compells it to go toward water or it's next host?

Why is it worse during a woman's monthly cycle? What natural reason would make this more active?

Why do more of them come out of my chest area during showers? Are they residing in my lungs?

Thanks

Margo

Hi Margo!

Since we won't know until then, it would be fun to give the quiz a shot and see how close we come to the answers. May as well make lemonade from lemons, huh?

Let me preface my impromptu guesses by mentioning that I'm STILL getting through the book "Parasite Rex" and am just amazed at what I'm reading and the complexity of parasites. They are such incredible creatures and while we reproduce the with the same dna structure of our human species, parasites are capable of transforming themselves COMPLETELY into not only other species, but entirely different organisms. It's FASCINATING! It's no wonder scientists haven't been able to get a handle on most diseases (esp. autoimmune) since they are completely bypassing the basis of all diseases: parasites and toxins and how they effect our rna/dna and create disease. They are focusing on bacteria and viruses rather than the protozoa. They keep creating and administering anti-biotics which are becoming not only worthless, but are creating stronger parasites.

I think it's possible that since fungi are moisture-philic organisms and grow in it, and fungi are most likely implicated somehow in combination, they react.

So what compells it to go toward water or it's next host? Didn't one of the researchers mention electrical charges in these organisms? Also, parasites go from host to host sometimes. Who knows what these things are up to?

Why is it worse during a woman's monthly cycle? What natural reason would make this more active? Here's my guess. Acidic ph. or something to do with our hormones, which also may affect the ph as well. The body certainly is a complicated miracle, n'est pas?

Why do more of them come out of my chest area during showers? Are they residing in my lungs? Why they come out of certain areas is really a good question, I think. I wonder why it's so common for parasites to manifest in certain cutaneous areas of the body, such as under the bra line (for women ;-) forearms and lower legs. But many diseases I've read about do show lesions in mostly these areas. Oh, and the shower usually beats down on the chest most of the time, so who knows if that does something to attract them out?

That's a job for SUPER..........SCIENTIST!!!!! to find out!

UP.........UP.......AND AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

XOXO

Hello, Margo, and welcome to MDR. Glad to meet you.

You might want to check this thread for discussions of the lung worm infections which doctors treating morgellons are finding in at least some morgellons patients (as well as those who have chronic fatigue):

http://www.morgellons-disease-resear...p?topic=3728.0

Most parasites have to have moisture to exist so I do not think that is too odd. And they do have stages when their needs change and they seek a new environment for that one.

I believe these parasites live at one point in the blood stream. It is possible therefore that symptoms would worsen during a woman's monthly cycles. I also believe that living in the blood stream, at some stages, makes this parasite quite hard to treat and totally eradicate. Look at malaria, which is another blood borne parasite and one which is also difficult to treat as they cannot eradicate it totally from the body. Some of it is capable of hiding in the liver for years, awaiting the time when the patient's immune system weakens to emerge once more. Lyme bacteria is also able to hide in cyst form. Many of these diseases are capable of hiding from the immune system itself. Better studies and treatments for parasite infections are needed, but I am not sure when we will see them.

Hi Margo,

Thanks for your inquiring mind...keep it coming!..asking such questions about our symptoms and experiences is something we should do more, in my humble opinion.

Are there more morgellon sufferers out there reading posts that are itchin to share (sorry)??....if that's you, then pluck up some courage and please post away. And if you're not sure how to post, please use the shout box and ask. We are all here to help out.

Back to the questions....I agree with everything Kritts and TCM say.

I'm just gonna add that I think they're attracted to heat, pheromones and urocanic acid too. I think females release more pheromones when ovulating, even insects use the pheromone trick to attract. Also that symptoms are felt more, because skin is alot more sensitive during this time of the month.

If someone takes a cold shower or does washing up with cold water, does the same thing happen??? Margo....wanna try it out??

It figures that they are alot more motile in liquid. Whether that's sweat or blood, saliva/sputum etc. The Crypto thread that TCM mentioned may help with your thoughts regarding some of this.

Joey.......

Ewwwwwww.........we're sexually attracting the ugly parasites during our menses? Now, there's a disgusting thought since we've all seen close-up pictures. (just kidding....that is actually a good point..hormones...protein...whatever).

Glad I'm past menopause. Actually, menostop.

I know I'm sick

Hello everyone. Just Melissa here still in denial most of the time....

So, I don't have lesions anymore. I'm not on medication anymore. I'm not seeing a local MD for Lymes anymore.

So, why am I shedding fibers like I am a walking cotton ball. It is so weird and to see these obnoxious little fibers fly off of me into the wind, someone's eyes, food, etc., puts me over the edge. I'm so scared to live that I often think it's unfair to not feel ill right now and make others sick or itchy. Don't get me wrong. I know that I'm still sick, but it's not the kind of sick that I was last year so I feel healthy - it's all relative.

The funny thing is that most say that this does not exist so in essence, I'm fine. The not so funny thing is that I know better no matter how hard I try to agree with the nay sayers. I watch the people around me start gasping for air, hitting themselves crazily and pulling at their eyelashes or nose. My one friend said she felt like she had a web on her nose when I came close to her....she has no idea!!

My therapist said that if I didn't get sick, I wouldn't be so hyper sensitive. My son has been itchy around me again. My hands got athlete's foot today. I'm tired of searching so I do the best that I can.

I'm tired and scared. I need prayer this month. I'm working so hard at healthy and normal and in the end, my CD57 is still 28.

Thanks for listening.

Melissa

Hi Melissa! I feel the same way. Its like we go through periods of denial because of the shame of giving it to people cause I keep tabs on others that are around me. I see them end up with a rash then a sinus infection or a stomache ache. Doesnt matter if these people know Im sick, they dont beleive me anyway. What to do huh? I need God all the time too. I need prayers, we all do. Im sending you my hand in friendship and please know when I read a post I send prayers also. You can call on me for prayer anytime.

Sometimes I look back at the past, where did I make such a bad choice that I got this? Then I look in the future and say -when Im better I will....! I find now that I need to breathe quietly a few times a day and picture a tree or a mountain and see the sturdy roots of these beautiful creations God gave us. Im NOT grounded, Im emotional and reactive. I worry about too much. Im starting to see today, right now, this moment. This moment is life, not yesterday or tomorrow, but now. NOW wasnt good for me before. Dang! Why would it be good as this sickness was my only thought. So I take time to soak up Gods love, close my eyes and breathe, in and out. I have cried alot during these meditations. Suffering, being alone with ourselves, when I understood that it is a journey and there is a wonderful reason for it then I can make a little decision a little at a time. Instaed of either denying it or jumping so fast your head would spin. Noone wanted to be around me, and for good reason! I needed my time to just be. Still do. This place, these people here, are friends. We can find peace here, even if we dont talk. But some of us have to. Some like me need to be quiet at times and pray my heart would listen to others and just send love to that person for giving me there pain of what they are going through. I dont TAKE on the pain, it goes in and out but I filter it and send it back with love. Its something we can all do for each other.

Sorry if this is in the wrong area. Needed to get it out before I screwed up a key and dumped the whole post!! Not so good at using a PC! Anyway, love you all! Nat
