| Re: Linchens Very interesting Cindi, I never have thought about lichen, but the sheets of "plastic" that peel off my my skin (like vel-cro on the under side) curl up and are similar looking in form to lichen I see growing on rocks. I think we have fungus amongus  and am liken the lichen (involvement?)  .Itwl, ~jonsi

| Re: Linchens Hi Jonsi, Yes this is very interesting and I am still learning, came across this article tonight and on page 32 and 33 cities that surround me are listed if you keep reading they discuss it further. Do not know the significance yet but the description on page 32 fit to a tee things I have found in our environment.
