Default Does Brittany have Morgellons?

When I saw a picture of Brittany Spears leaving a hair salon
with her head shaved,,I wondered.

The first thing most Morgies want to do is shave their head,
or they at least wonder if they should since nothing else seems
work.

At the time she was having skin problems on her face.

I saw a Magazine at Borders today, a year later and she still had
the facial lesions, plus they plastered this article with her
hair loss problems. Also she can't sleep,, ehemm...one more
of our symptoms!

Unlike her once party party friends, she hasn't been seen in
clubs or even music events since these problems started.

She's obviously confused and hidding out, fearful of her
children being taken away from her. She also at one point
gave her children to the father on her own. Thats when
the father wanted to seek legal action to keep the kids.

She's now stuck in a Mental Hospital, against her will and
being sedated...because she can't even sleep at the Hospital.

Now I ask you, doesn't this all sound too familiar?

I feel deeply sorry for her, the people who she trusts
seem to be using her to get attention for themselfs.

Being that Morgs is spreading faster in the area she lives
and is now hospitalized, I hope these Doctors at that hospital
know about Morgs and help her...

Just my thoughts and I hope she finds the help she really needs..

Aloha

Interesting observation! It would actually be a blessing if she did because of all the media attention - as bad as that sounds.

I actually told my daughter this soon after she shaved her head and refused to sit in anything but a leather seat on a plane. This was long ago now. That would be very interesting if that were the case. God knows there have been times where my own family has thought I was crazy. I have also wondered if Hair extensions had any connection to all this because my daughter started wearing them 3 years ago. Britney used them to change her look up all the time as well as Jessica Simpson. I have wondered what if their sterilization did not work against something on the hair. Not long after that the symptoms began for both of us. I use to put them in for her. Now I am reduced to a wig. Maybe no connection but I can not say I have not thought of it often.

I believe with my all my heart that she does have this, I also bought the Jessica Simpson real hair and that is when my symptoms started with my hair. Makes me wonder. Thought you all would think I am crazy.

Now how to you wear a wig, what do you put under the wig and what type of wigs are they, real hair or the fake hair. I need to go to a Military Ball in April will need to wear a wig. One of my best friends is the speaker a 5 star retired Admiral. I have not seen them since 2002. If I don't feel well we will just go back home, I also have a time share were the ball is held, may get it for the weekend and get out of this house, even if it's to sit outside on the balconey and watch the tourist in Waikiki. My prayers are for Britney. Thanks Aloha, Unclear

I just recently purchased a synthetic one because the one I had that was real hair seemed to get attacked just like my own hair did. It started out normal and graduly got the ruff silver like texture on the top or the strands that turn dark brown purple out of no where. I have only had the synthetic one two days so to soon to tell if it will be a problem. I purchased a John Renau and the color is much more realistic then the Henry Margu synthetic I had the first time. I think it is spelled. It pulled way to green on the ash undertones in florescent lighting. The human hair wig I purchased that I was not happy with the quality of hair although now I wonder if it was just the fact that it was susesptable because it was real. It was an Amore Lana. I believe. One of the sales reps said it was Remi but after looking back at emails I exchanged another rep from the same site said it was not. So be careful. If you get real hair make sure it is REMI or also called cuticle hair.

Have you ever heard of the fungus that causes southern blight? Kind of wonder if there is any connection due to the strange silver that takes over the top layer of the real hair wig. I just ordered a cotton liner. I know cotton but I thought I would try soaking it before wearing it. I also got one the net ones. I would not recommend the nylon stocking type they don't breath well. I have a few good sites if you want me to PM you the links.

Marine Core ball in April? I am suprised my daughter has dated a Marine for 2 years now and they always have them October/November I thought. Do they have them at all different times of the year?

I want a wig!!! My hair is so weird now. I highlight my hair and notice the roots grow in the same colors as the dye or highlight applied to the individual hair. At one point my hair was growing in all dark brown, even the gray strands were growing in dark...

The hair on my arms and legs is different too. I never noticed hair on my elbows before...

Poor Brittany. I think it is better though to have Morgellons though. She has lots of company if she truly is suffering like the rest of us. There is light at the end of the tunnel

Does your hair ever look purple on your arms when the light hits it just right? Mine does. I notice the same on my husband. Never before have I seen this before now. My what I think is either plastic lol or gray clumps together. Is that normal? I try not to wear my wig too much though because I think the scalp needs to breath.

I feel bad for Britney. I think her ex husband mentally abused her and used her. I bet if we could see inside her house we would know real quick whether or not she did have this.

The most recent wig I got was at medical-wigs.com

Do you know of any good hair dyes to cover the gray as it comes in so I stop over analyzing it?

My natural hair color use to be ash brown with ash blond.

I too bought a wig, it was so itchy I had to wear a plastic cap under
it. It didn't work out for me, the weather here is too warm, so I'd
sweat then itch and scratch.

In my original post about Brittany I forgot to add that one of the
pictures of her was with her tounge stuck out, her tounge was
black !

I don't think we can hold out any hope of Brittany coming out about
Morgellons, she and like most Celeb's would be the least likley people
to admit to this disease. Hollywood is a cruel enviroment, their looks
are everything to these people. I'm afraid we will have to wait til they
get well enough to show their face in public. I'm sure once they feel
like their looks aren't going to scare anyone maybe they will show pics
of what they went through and help to bring awarness to our illness.

I was a little afraid to write this post, but now that I see I'm not the
only one who has taken notice of Brittany. Yes lets all pray for her!

Aloha

Good Idea, and for her children. Black tongue? Wait isn't that caused by certain types of mold? I thought I read something about a parasite regarding that as well. hmmm........ I have a friend who had this happen when they lived in a house with black mold.

Hi, I just thought to mention that in TCM tongue color and coating are used as part of the diagnosis of health status. Here is what I found about black tongue coating:

Black Tongue Coat

*
Similar to the Gray coating above, but more severe.
*
The black coating usually develops from gray or a burnt yellow coating.
*
A dry black coating (usually with cracks) may indicate excessive Heat burning body fluids.
*
A moist black coating and a pale tongue body may indicate Yang Deficiency, Internal Excess Cold, with or without the presence of Dampness.
*
Both Gray and Black tongue coating can indicate extreme Cold (wet tongue) or extreme Heat (dry tongue).
*
Western drugs such as antibiotics can also cause a black tongue coating.

From: http://sacredlotus.com/diagnosis/tongue/index.cfm

Maybe though she had just eaten a piece of black licorice or perhaps during her stay in the hospital a Western drug from her doctor might have caused this symptom to develop.
