I was having a casual conversation with a woman that I met for the first time yesterday, she works with a local vet treating animals. At one point I inquired about how often that they treat dogs and cats with fur and coat problems which turns out to be very common apparently, mites I guess. Then I asked if while observing one of these animals with the coat condition if they ever noticed colored fibers hanging around on the animals coat, she replied oh yeah, we see blue and red ones all the time. I asked what their take on them was, she said she didn't know, they weren't looking for them or interested in them therefore had nothing to say about them. WTF, now you see why this is the way it is, see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil, and everything is hunky dorey I guess.

I think its always interesting to hear docs discussing morgellons.

The student doctor network had some posts from practicing students discussing instances where they had patients with morgellons:

This was a year ago - I wonder what they think now??

The guy, (in second to last post at bottom of page) - was making people itch...sounds familiar.

Maybe there's hope that the new batch of doctors about to hatch will have good heads on their shoulders and well developed beaks to speak the truth.
