I've been using a product called "Resinol" that has been working pretty good to remove the crust/film on top of the lesion, as well as draw out the little guys without burning pain. It's a drawing salve that has calomine in it, which is what I think makes the difference. You can get it at Walgreens, Walmart, etc. and it looks like an "old-fashion" salve jar. Anyways, I put it on my lesions for about 20 min. to soften them up and it seems to do the trick. It doesn't heal them though, only helps remove the junk. I suffer the "burns" and many of the products and suggestions on here for treatment hurt like a son of a gun. I need to find something that'll help eliminate the buggers so my sores can heal.

I felt an intense burning sensation at the base of my spine after a salt and peroxide bath.

At first I thought maybe I just had a shock of hot water on that spot.

But I looked at in in the mirror and it was not burned, i looked like normal skin.

then I noticed a few itchy bumps.

I notice it woudl FLARE up at certain times.

when I meditate, When i got to yoga class, when i talke to a psychci friend of mine.

It is still there several days later, and skin feels rough around the area.

It surely is odd.

I continue to have faith it is more related to kundalini awakening than bugs.

Love and light to you,

Sprite

Anyway, when I start to flare up and need to get the crap out asap I throw everything I can think of at it and the other day (last week the first burn) I think I poisoned myself using too much icey/hot gel and the other crap I used.

Anyone have some tips when situations like this arise...like concrete instructions in dealing with skin flares on the neck/scalp that I can print out and look at and carry-out in a calm-fashion so that I don't panic when this happens as I do everytime.
It is probably best to give your skin some time some time to heal. You don't want to cause a lot of scarring. Aloe Vera is a good topical treatment. You can also try some silver sulfadiazine cream (also called Silvadene cream). This is a prescription cream. I think there are sites on the net that sell it.

Here are links to the treatment steps and FAQ. Maybe you will find some information that might help:

Speaking of 'burn', I never felt that as you are describing, but a few weeks ago I posted a question regarding the sudden overall redness and heat (as in having fallen asleep in the sun for hours) and itching of the skin on my ENTIRE body.

I had assumed it was because of the walnut hull extract since it was the first time I took it. What I didn't realize was that I also took NIACIN for the first time by itself and through isolation of possibilities, found it was in fact the NIACIN causing what is referred to as "NIACIN RUSH". I wanted to share this with everyone fyi. While niacin is actually sometimes prescribed by doctors for many very good reasons, dosage is EXTREMELY INDIVIDUAL based on a person's need for it. I've seen prescribed dosages in the thousand mgs and I pulled 1,000mg per capsule off the drugstore shelf and took one.

Upon googling, found that suggested doses are anywhere from 25mgs to as I said, thousands, which to me makes absolutely no sense. I have read further that the worse your 'flush' the less you need it. Also, that the flush, although it can be extremely uncomfortable as in my case, is a good thing and not harmful. What happens is that your capillaries which go to your skin are opened, allowing the toxins to flow away from the body via the blood. In saying that, I will stop here, since other chemical activities may very well and probably are implicated here. One is how this vitamin interacts with anything else we may be taking simultaneously. I find it difficult to believe that there aren't extremes here, such as if a person is a hemophiliac, for instance or is on blood thinners.

My conclusion is that vitamins, herbs, drugs are a very complicated and volatile science and we really have to be very careful about the combinations we take.

Yours in victory,
Kritters

Thanks LC,

I'm not sure though, what you're saying here. I'm trying to make the distinction between the 'burn' people are feeling in isolated spots on their bodies vs. the niacin flush I found out was causing the sking on my entire body to become hot and itchy.

Your first sentence acknowledges that, but the two different 'burns' are not related at all.

What am I missing, girlfriend? ???

LC,
I understand exactly what you're talking about. I guess I should have begun a new thread for the niacin rush but thought it was a good idea to post about it to distinguish between the two or at least to introduce something people may not be aware of.

Howdy:

This is my first post. I am writing today because ladycolorado's "burn" is the first I have seen. That is, except for mine. I have some photos very similar to what ladycolorado posted.

Will someone please tell me how to post photos on here so I can also document?

Oh, I have Lymes (IGenX) and Morgellons.

Thank you,
Cheryl

I posted this once but it's disappeared from the thread. So, here I go again:

Thank you, LadyC:

I have probably had Lymes for many years but just diagnosed the Morgellons myself 2 years ago. I read posts by you and Bubba and others and strangely enough, a lot of what y'all recommend is what I have been doing for over 2 years. However, my lifesaver was the salt/c which I have been on for 19 months.

The biofilm that has covered my entire body was/is one of the most difficult symptoms of these diseases. I have found that the Cumanda/Burber is what's killing the biofilm. I actually have very large patches of clean, clear, pink healthy skin in a few places! It will take a long time but the Cumanda is well worth the expense. The Burber is for the detox. I also took the Samento for a while, but it causes me to be too fatigued right now.

I took heavy duty antifungals and antibiotics for over a year. I also endured several heavy treatments of Ivermectin and Biltricide. Add to that every topical known to man and I've narrowed down my protocol to something more simple that I can live with and may have to for the rest of my life, however long or short that may be. Two years ago, I really thought I was dying.

I personally believe we have to fight this stuff from the inside out. Yes, I do use a lot of peroxide topically and spend time in our hot tub that we converted to salt water. Every shower in last 2 years included Nizoral shampoo all over my body. I didn't have much luck with the EcoVie but I understand some people have had good results.

It seems that there are lots of different symptoms on different people and some remedies that work for some do not work for others. That's why it's so difficult to be sure that one person's treatment will work for another. I'm just thankful that I am now getting some relief and healing. But it's certainly not 100%.

My reason for posting on this thread is to share a couple of photos of the "burn" I have experienced 2 times in the last 2 years. Yes, Aloe was the best thing I could find and then wait for it to heal and peel. Thank you, Bad Boy, for the instructions on how to post photos.

This first pix is very much like LadyC's burn; however, as much as it hurt me, hers looks like it was worse:

The second pix of of the same burn showing the right side of my neck and it's clear that the burn stayed on the front of my body and did not go around to the back of the neck:

The last pix is just an example of how bad the "peel" is after the burn starts healing. My entire face and neck peeled after the burn went away:

I hope this works. More posts later. Thank you all for sharing.

Cheryl
