| I agree its the stories like this that make our life so difficult. If you never were afflicted by this disease and read this stuff would you believe in the pain Morgellons sufferers go through. Hence why we find acceptance of this in community so difficult to get. Apart from that, these articles are just outright scary and cause anxiety and fear in people. |

| ok jason is this what you mean by conspiracy theory? its this kind of stuff that costs us credibility and im confident there is a will behind it not this article itself but the whole ridiculing business and i'm sick of it too but the big point is im sick, why can't i get treated? its nuts, really nuts (ive got a pain in left lower back just above the hip that won't go away(could be my liver) and my ribs or chestmuscle when i lift my arms. i want to know if anyone else gets this or if its nothing to do with the itchy show?)thanks and is anyone else tired of articles launching into a history of morgellons disease(which is totally irrelevant and misleading)? call it the Itchy Show its simple and self explanatory

| Hip pain on the lower back is usually the result of kidney problems in TCM. Also there might be nerve compression of some sort causing pain (western medicine view). The liver is on the right side of body, and usually pain would be there or in stomach area, not the kidney area on left side of back. Not all with morgellons have itching as a major symptom, so calling morgellons the "itchy show" might leave more than a few out of the morgellons definition. I am one of the people who would not describe my main symptom as itching. I have only experienced minor, occasional, localized itching. Not all have lesions either, although I have had them. Since I have treated myself with special salves this is no longer a major symptom for me. Still I have some symptoms of morgellons which linger. Perhaps this is why it is so hard for many doctors to believe there is any commonality to morgellons (or even to believe that it exists as a separate dx). Yet I am sure there will be something which we all have in common and which will eventually be recognized as morgellons.

| Television news is like a lightning flash. It makes a loud noise, lights up everything around it, leaves everything else in darkness and then is suddenly gone. --Hodding Carter The man who reads nothing at all is better educated than the man who reads nothing but newspapers. --Thomas Jefferson (1743 - 1826) Jason, I agree: there's no room for sensationalism. I've actually turned off a television report about Morgellons because
Here's a site that briefly touches upon the process of evaluation resources. This might simulate the same process that everyone outside this community will use while assessing the plausiblity of the disease existance: University of Washington Library Dave, glad t'aint your liver ![]() Thanks for another lesson, TCM. |

| Hey Dave, Thanks for sharing and TCM, thanks for education as result. Just love our ecu/communication . I've been having dull minute discomfort in ribcage and total pelvic area. Think that one's called "time to visit gyno" area. ![]() And speaking of beer, Dave.............. To my friends who enjoy a glass of wine... and those who don't: >> >> As Ben Franklin said, 'In wine there is wisdom, in beer there is > freedom, in water there is bacteria.' >> In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have > demonstrated that if we drink 1 liter of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. coli) -bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop. >> >> However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer (or >> tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting. >> Remember: Water = Poop, Wine = Health >> ![]() Kritters |

| Glad you liked it! ![]() Speaking of that here's a really dumb, stupid, assinine ritualistic song my really dumb, stupid, assinine ex used to sing with his college buddies: If you drink you will die If you don't drink you will die So! What the hell! Might as well! Drink until you die! (chug, glug, slurp) ![]() Kritts |

| Of course I am going to reply to such a juicy paranomal treat you have presented lc! You are my Storm and I shall be your "Cloud" However we compliment each other you will always melt my butter ![]() Why not a little help from the "others" in this big old galaxy, universe, infinity of infinity? Who has an ego big enough to believe that humans are the only ones that have any purpose or definition and destination in this broad spectrum and in this enormous playing field that defines infinity? "The veil is thinning". Up to this very special time that we are getting sick, we, as humans, have taken pretty good care of our planet. And not to insult anyone reading this I will take the liberty of calling the planet earth "Mother". Just for the purpose of storytelling... as the Native-Americans call her. (ok, dammit Jim!!! I AM a copy-cat) meow Well, if you haven't heard yet, we are not taking care of our Mother, "Earth" now and it is about to be totally trashed with our toxic returns to the Mother. She is so wonderful and unique in comparison to the other planets. Our planet has beautiful blue azul skies; the flowing pure water that is so cleansing and fun to play and of which we are mostly made of; the different animals, insects, plants, flowers, BUGS (as a kid, how long could you look at a bug with no fear?); the clouds of destruction that made us move on in life to create new homes in a place that didn't need to be vacuumed by Mother, hmm, there is a silver lining surrounding each cloud as "they" say. So, my point is: Don't ya think that maybe there are "others" who have a vested interest in the planet Earth and in us? I think we need some serious help and I believe it will come. It "ain't" gonna come from the shadow government that is trying to control us by making us sick (toxic foods that cause cholesterol, high blood pressure, fibro-malagia...stuff, chem-trails or aerosol sprays) only to line up to take a pill every day for the rest of our lives. Those others are close by and will help us when our "Mother" is no longer able to. The Earth is sick. We are sick. "The veil is thinning". With help, and in time (a looooong time) maybe our Mother will be back to her good old self again. But in the mean time, well, who knows. Hope we learn our lessons.... ~jonsi
