No sex drive...becoming a hermit.

In the midst of suffering from Morgellons I realized that I was really sick. No strength, no ambition, uug-ly with the lesions, and feeling very anti-social. No one believed me and that made me very angry. Along the way I stopped answering the phone, stopped (couldn't find the strength) keeping up the house, and since all of my clothes bit me, my wardrobe of "fun" clothes dwindled down to jeans and a few shirts. I had no desire to go out. Why go out...my spirit was leaving my body behind and I had no idea where it had gone to, where I had disappeared to.

Never occurred to me that I had lost any interest in sex.

What does this say about Morgellons and it's effect on us as a species? No sex, no babies, no species. Just one generation without sex means , oh oh. No more anything? No more us? (ok-it would take more than one generation and I, for one, never believed in the generation-gap where sex was concerned).

Now that I am in "remission", whatever that means, I'm coming back spiritually and going out again. But I don't know if anyone has ever brought up the subject of libido and want to know if it is a common experience to lose your libido when you have Morgellons.

I just read about this on Marc Neuman's site. There seems to be a correlation between reduced sex drive and Morgellons. Here's an excerpt.

As well, I discovered that these organisms usually infest the mouth, nose, and eyes, and sometimes, the ear canals, kidneys, gastrointestinal system and the brain. Eventually, they infest after a longer time all internal body areas. I found out that most of all re-infections come from these areas. As well that a lower sexual hormone level plays an enourmous role for getting infected (see more on my site). On the basis of my investigations and discoveries, I started to make DSP and now also some holoistic treatments.

...and i just thought i had matured...settled down...okay okay..............GOTTEN OLD but it really is very uncomfortable bein up against another person with or w/o clothin. the prickuly, crawly feelins and the constant concerns regardin contagious contact would kill any libido, especially mine. this is one mean disease. mean, i'm tellin ya..............mean.

Brenda-rella, you are not old, just taste too good to the Morgellons. I'm sorry they like to bite you so much. Yeah, it's hard to get intimate i guess, when you keep slapping yourself. It's like three is a crowd when you want just two.

ps. After reading what you wrote about him i would have to say that HES the crappy boyfriend. He should be trying to help you feel better and be extra loving and carring.Not screwing around on you .Your better off alone than with someone like him. You can never really be close to someones whos lying to you and cant trust anyway
