Default Has anyone experienced anything like this before

Hi all, My computer is still down so I'm posting from a friends. I want to thank Nancy for her kind words and support, keep up the fight Nancy your doing a great job!

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

My morgellons symptoms have always been most predominant in my feet and hands and within the last couple of months I've noticed a worsening of these symptoms. A couple of fridays ago I began experiencing pain in my foot that seemed somewhat similar to the gout pain that I often suffer from except it wasn't in a joint, instead it was located just behind the intersection of my little toe and the toe adjacent to it. By the following monday the pain was becoming severe, there was significant swelling, and redness began to appear on the top of my foot, slowly moving up my foot towards the ankle. On tuesday I couldn't make it through my work day and had to leave early, on my way home I removed my boot and sock and noticed a patch of skin in the area I was feeling the pain that was white, like dead skin, and I pricked at it to remove it and when I did a very large amount of pus came gushing out of my foot, it had to be atleast a tablespoon in volumn, yes it was very gross, but now I knew the source of my pain, a very bad infection!
What was unusual about this infection is that there was absolutely no wound at all, this infection began within my foot and it was more on the topside than the bottom so I'm sure that it did not result from stepping on something. My only explanation is that it is morgellons related. So I'm currently on antibiotics and the swelling and redness have lessened but the condition is still not healed completely and I am still experiencing pain in that area.

Hi Steve, I can not stand looking at all the bryozoan in the world and having you not have a computer so i can ***** to you....so i come on tonight and here you are *****in Just because we have all this calcium carbonate building structures sideways to gravity, doesnt mean its gonna come out that way. You probably got the drips, a condition caused by gravity where all the overproduction of these prollific monsters slid down to your toe. Well, you asked! And here is my mom opinion, apply baking soda repetedly to dissolve the "white stuff". When and if it starts bleeding....go with the flow. But, first tape the area and get some samples so we can have a look-see. I have spent hours getting one of these out of my ear lobe. The stuff is white , then lots of ooze. Then it does this bloody thing...but the blood is full of the block pattern ,and you can see it form on tape if you hold it to the light as it drys. It just needs to all "come out of the closet so to speak". Soda keeps it melting down and coming out til its no longer needing to pool up, clog up, swell up. So! Thats my advise based on your bryozoan theory! Guess what i saw....something that reminds me of all i see in the lesion, its a great site, and a great assignment for you if youre stuck resting your foot.......find all the life stage photos of the things hanging out with this bryozoan. http://hbs.bishopmuseum.org/pdf/PHReport.pdf

Nancy, that looks like a Mr. Roosterhead with an arm and rooster hand projection.

This is just too bizarre.

Saf,

pain in the upper part of the foot is a symptom I recall reading about somewhere. I'm sorry, but everything is just floating around in my grey matter these days and I can't pin it down. However, I had major pain in the summer on the tops of my feet. Never noticed any patches or anything. It's now gone, though. I was worried.

Isn't it possible we can have bacterial infections which don't necessarily find their way out? If this thing is a bacteria or if bacteria is secondary, that could be it just working its way around.

Don't mind me. I'm just babbling.

Look forward to your return.

SteveF,

There are a few examples of when you may get an infection without an apparent point of penetration. I'm assuming your doctor has ruled out diabetes. The list goes on for a few more, but none sound like what you have. Whether or not this is directly related to Morgellons, may you have a speedy recovery and a quick revival for your poor computer.

FYI - My initial issues were my hands, feet, scalp and ears.

I had to get a biopsy on my ear and liquid nitrogen for precancerous cells which was probably ....

Anyway, follow the advice of Bubba and hero members. There is some natural ionic foot bath out there. I usually slather DSP and put on socks and I find immediate relief.

I have recently gone off my meds (2 weeks this past Monday) and haven't had any relapse. Keep me in prayer.

I have been using lots of immune boosting activities which includes daily exercise and organic cleansing regimen. I am taking things day by day.

Oh, I had a very strange large marble sized bump on my right thumb joint and my right big toe. I believe it is all related of course, but it went down on its own over the course of a week.

I'm working hard at not fixating on the "symptoms" They were probably there for much longer than I realize, but I was so busy living that I blew them off until they took over.

I hope this helps.

Just a quick add...

SteveF's problem may or may not be directly related Morgellons as a symptom, but that doesn't mean it might not be something he caught because he was left prone by Morgellons. Apologies if it appeared I was saying otherwise.

Yes, Steve I have. I'm glad you are getting antibiotics. Sounds like a secondary infection. My feet almost looked like I had gangrene sp? for a time. I applied something called Bag Balm antibiotic salve EVERY night before bed for about three montshs. It's a little sticky but will draw out the infection after a good deal of time. I put on socks over the medicine as to not ruin my bed sheets. Keep it quite clean as well and dry as possible. This is not to say that what I had or was experiencing was the SAME as you but just stating what I did that helped ME. You may have some type of staph infection as well, I would keep your doctor apprised of that. I'm sure you are, but that can become serious without antibiotics, IF that is what you are experiencing.

Feet are as right as rain currently, knock wood.

P.S. Forgot to mention that it is helpful to use latex gloves to apply this, then you don't get hands all sticky and don't spread infection to other areas of body.

Steve,

TCM has some great pointers about black seed here under reply 9. Especially of note is this excerpt from the article:
Quote:
"There is black cumin and people think it is black seed; it is not the blessed seed.”
The author of the article also says there is a specific region from which to obtain the true "blessed seed". Interesting stuff.

I'm not really certain you're seeking the herbal route, so this might not even be pertinent to your treatment plan.

------------------------
Late Edit: this is unfortunately an overly protracted explanation of the post above, which was in turn a response to a a reference to "black cumin" as possible medicine for Steve's ailment.

The article to which TCM was referring named both the botanical and traditional arabic (translated, not transliterated) name for the plant.

Regarding this study of the antioxident properties of black seed via the measurement of the reduction of the presence of CCl4.

According to Khaled Al-Kubaisy's & Mohammed Al-Noaemi's study, "Carbon tetrachloride induced hepatocytic damage" which no doubt produced predictable results. So, by this post, are you asserting Morgellons has a carcinogenic factor, with which by treatment of Nigella Sativa oil can factor as a significant reductor of carcinogens? I can't find where this study has been replicated (and the same narrow scope and replication issues could also be said for the other studies).

This problem of verification has been further supported by your link here http://www.drugs.com/npp/kalanji.html, which states
Quote:
Studies have been performed on its immune/protective or anticancer effects, anti-inflammatory actions, and antimicrobial and anthelmintic properties. More human studies are needed.
[size=8pt]Additionally, the statement
Quote:
Nor does the oil of Nigella Sativa have harmful side effects either, I have taken it with no ill effects
seems pat imo. As with anything, proper dosage is necessary as "The seed yields a volatile oil containing melanthin, nigilline, damascene and tannin. Melanthin is toxic in large dosages and Niugelline is paralytic, so this spice must be used in moderation". http://www.theepicentre.com/Spices/nigella.html). I'll add my own testimony here: those with sensitivity to drugs may also experience hypersensitivity to medicinal herbs.

As far as providing better links, herb procurement or otherwise, I can't support this particular treatment as a panacea for Morgellons and therefore will leave the research for others. I like the idea of potential immune boosting properties of this herb, but pursuing this vein would require me to seek an herbal specialist as herbal medicine is every bit as complicated as alleopathic medicine. Short of posting a general statement detailing ways I evaluate herbal companies (as personal opinion only), I can't in good conscience post anything more. For those doing their own research, search terms might be obtained from the contents of Gernat Katzer's page since he lists herbal names in a multitude of languages as well as the latin and common names. Happy searching.

Steve: apologies for my post #3. This no doubt initially led your topic astray and hopefully it will be corrected by the ensuing posts.
