Default Term Paper

Hey, everyone. I'm new here, but I've been doing a lot of research about Morgellons Disease. I did a speech about it for my communications class, and I'm going to write my term paper and give a presentation on it next week for my science class. Just wanted to hear from you (if you'd like to input some) and tell you that I believe it's a real disease, not a psychological disorder. I hope a cure will be found soon, because it sounds like it's a horrible thing to suffer from.
Thanks!
Cait

You are welcome Cait. Yes, I have even physical abnormalites in my blood, a very real disease. I hope the disease is recognized though, as over time can have very serious health consequences. It is terrible to have something that even if society did understand, would make them afraid of you. Otherwise, it is just ridicule by most. It is bad enough have Lyme disease people think this is a fictional disease as well. I hope you get a good grade on the term paper. You have my permission to use anything I have posted as long as not taken out of context or give a meaning I did not intend. (LC)

Hi Cait,

I'm sure you'll find enough here on the forum for a great term paper if you spend time reading posts.

I'm curious..... ???..... what made you choose to write on Morgellons, and how did you find out about it?

Cait thanks for choosing us for learning about this disease. Trust me sooner or later the mases will be hearing about this as a real disease. You are ahead of the curve here. I wish you luck on your report and if others in your school want to learn more, please send them over.

I heard about this from my communications teacher at the beginning of the semester and was intrigued. So I did research about it and decided to give an informative speech about it. It made me very angry (suprisingly--I didn't think I was so passionate about it lol) when another person in his speech said Morgellons isn't real.
Then I found out I had to do a term paper and presentation about this disease for my science, and I thought I'd take the easy route and do the same thing twice. However, for the science paper, I needed some scientific journal/magazine articles, and most of the opinions I found from them are that this is a delusion, and that really pissed me off. So now I'm going to try to get as much word out there as I can. I want to try to do something that will make the general public respond and spur the CDC to stop dragging their feet and do something.
Thank you all so much for your support and sharing your stories with me.

Cait

Cait,

I'm so amazed someone your age is tuned in on this. I'm also surprised and intrigued that two different professors (?) teachers (?) would be tuned in on this as well, since most people aren't aware of it at all.

In any case, great to have you on our side. Youth serum is always good.

I'll be pm-ing you tons of links and articles you'll be able to use.

Smiles,
Kritts

Wow, thank you so much!
My comm teacher was actually the only one who knew about it, I told my science teacher about it when I asked to do it as my term project.
Thank you for all your help!

No problem Cait,

You just may be on the cutting edge of not only Morgellons Disease itself, but a breakthrough to a new understanding of many other things, including autoimmune disease and bio-engineering. The sooner young minds are implanted with this knowledge, the more it will proliferate.

Wow, thanks for the encouragement.
If I was better at and enjoyed science more, I'd consider changing my major
As it is, I'm hoping to be an influential journalist some day, and maybe, if people listen to me, I can say something inspiring about this that would get the truth out there.
