Hi Emily, I WILL say if getting Igenex test on to a good start. Shot antibiotic injections? Cool. I have multiple conditions, and I think you are going to be okay. I had to wait some time myself to get good care. Remember with the Igenex, do not get discouraged if a low marker, presence of Borrelia does NOT show up in those healthy with this test. It is very weird, this low marker if have it can be a typical pattern of those with Morgellons Disease. He should be testing for Babesia as well as Spirochetes. There will be a wait on the tests, but well worth it. If he gave you these shots, well MOST impressed glad have a caring doctor. Bubba would be a good one to write if qestions about medicines. At FIRST, was antibiotics only and Diflucan once a week. Too much antifungal medicine hurts the liver. Then, a couple of months later, Isonazid was introduced, it is a 4 month course. Dr. Harvey explained to me during a phone consultation the antibiotics make the disease lay down, the Isonazid helps kill it off. A couple of months later, Periodic bursts of antiparisitical, in my case human Ivermectin are introduced. Most likely blood drawn once to twice a month to make sure your organs healthy on the medcine. It is kind of a tiered approach with the Vanderbuilt type Harvey protocol I am on, have had my meds tweaked alot. You have a valid concern of co-infections it is not a one size fits all treatment with Morgellons Disease, as it carries many satellite co-infections with it. I have a VERY good feeling about this doctor, however. I am so very very overjoyed and rooting for you!!! (LC).

i use to love the heat and im used to working in it
but now
my skin cant breathe and i sweat like a pig while people around me dont
had heat stroke a few times,cramping up etc
a few litres on the saline drip each time but apparently its bad for the kidneys so cant work outside anymore
bright light is not great either ,i think i might be slowly becoming a vampire

but the rain is the itchy show breeding signal, or feeding or something because they party on me likes its 1999
doesnt matter if im inside or outside so i think its atmospheric pressure

some airconditioning bothers it too, maybe thats air pressure too
some boffin might find indicative of a particular parasite, but dont mention it to Dr.s they have an attitude reserved for this air pressure observation. Its 2 levels past patronising

Guess Ill jump on board here and complain! I am new to the board but not the "condition" Its rainy grey here and Ive been a mess since just before the full moon. Im pumping out an alarming amount of these fibers! If the late stages of this stuff we have is supposed to make us produce tons of some space age new textile.....well, Im a great success story...otherwise I am pretty close to snapping lately!

Many helpful members in here as well. It is okay if you vent. I can fully understand your frustration; if you have had Morgellons Disease a long time especially. Unfortunately takes time. However, you shall inprove just a bumpy ride. We are here for you, (LC).

As you know from private messages, I lurked around here reading posts for awhile before registering. Theres so much secrecy and speculation about what how and why this has happened to us that I was reluctant to identify myself even to the extent of a forum like this, but I am so attracted to the sense of community that some of you here seem to have attained that I had to try to become part of it. I am really a very positive person most days. Hopefully you will see that side of me here as well. I am happy to meet you all and look forward to getting to know you. Theres a special power in unity. The light from it can make us more than what we are.
