Hope you girls can all hang in there, do what you have to do to stay calm, and rest. The terrifying thing here is the isolation, but here we are not alone. Take some good breath, admire the sky, the trees and in your minds eye, let the pain and the torment drift away.

I have to agree with Lisa on this, if you have this disease you need to primarily treat from the inside. The baths etc really help give you relief but the real progress comes from treating internally. I think you have to be doing one of the 3 approaches at least to get better (depending on the person i.e allergies, medical history etc): 1. Antibiotics/Antifungals/Antiparasitics (Pharma drugs) 2. Natural Herbal treatment (Samento, Cumanda etc) 3. Salt + Vitamin C treatment Also as Lisa states starting slow is the key and then building up over time, there is no rush. I also have been treating and killing this pathogen with Pharma drugs for nearly 3 months and whilst its still there a lot of it has been killed and i feel like my old self with the exception of maybe a crawl or stinging sensation a few times a day. I am hoping that when my doctor feels the medication has done its job i will then switch across to the Herbal treatment and may well maintain it for life. I don't think i could ever revisit the last 14 months that i have had with this disease, it is just too painful and i feel for everyone of you that is in that stage its horrendous. The sad thing about this is doctors should be providing advice on how to treat before it gets to this stage, what we see at the moment is doctors diagnosing DOP after waiting a precious 1/2 months for the appointment (the longer its left untreated the worse it spreads throughout the body and tougher it is to eliminate). This disease is definitely beatable you just need to treat and stick to it religiously the rewards are waiting at the end. Jason

Dave, I was saying waiting 1 to 2 months for the appointment (if your waiting 5 years for an appointment your in trouble mate!) and i also stated that the doctor will most likely give some incorrect diagnosis. Which is why its important to see a Lyme literate doctor that if your lucky also specialises in chronic illnesses and hopefully will treat the Morgellon symptoms. I know in Australia that can be very difficult as there is only a handful of doctors in Australia that actually know how to treat and recognise lyme disease. If i was you and you didn't have any luck with some of the Infectious disease and Lyme literate doctors in Sydney i would be getting on a plane and visiting some of the specialists in the States that you know 100% are treating Morgellons. Expensive but i can never put a price on health and well being. If you have Morgellons and your symptoms are as you say and you haven't treated it with antibiotics etc then there is a good chance that you will show positive for lyme disease and chlamydia pneumonia. I have a couple of names of doctors in Sydney who specialise in this area i can pm you the details if you would like. Its probably best with these doctors unless you know they recognise Morgellons to not mention this and play along the lines of wanting to be tested for Lymes Disease, Babesia and Chlamydia Pneumonia and other coinfections and emphasising the fatigue symptoms, headaches, tiredness and skin symptoms that your having rather than coming out with i have worms coming out my skin or handing them a box of fibres. That instantly gives them ammunition to palm you away. Anyway i can see your frustration but if you get a doctor that knows about this and will treat you will not regret and even if its not in your own country.

I wanted to suggest something I do super retarded to remove diseased dead skin: packing tape. Sounds dumb, but if scratch it can get under fingers ad spread junk of disease. Packing tape, the clear kind is sticky and helps me to remove dead skin. Hope this helps, (LC).
