I would much rather be delusional-then it would only be a mental thing and they would know what drugs-treatments to prescribe. I think that it is easier and less frightening for others to point it at drugs etc-then to accept the fact or open there minds as then the reality that it could happen to them or anyone. That no one is immune or safe from it.

When I first started finding out about Morgellons and all the people in USA diagnosed DOP, I did not think that this would happen to me. However, I cannot seem to get away from the DOP diagnosis and it drives me crazy!!!
I have to try to focus on being well rather than use up my energy on fretting about the opinions of some doctors, who are not prepared to think out of the box.
However, I take heart from the fact that this is not a universally held viewpoint and

I never did a drug in my life. (unless you want to count red wine...she whined) A health and fitness freak although live the real life and am not perfect. Never drugs though. Don't even have a regular family doctor since I've never been sick enough to need one.

IMMUNE COMPROMISED is the self diagnosis. I know when I haven't been taking as good care of myself as I should, which for most other people would be mind boggling. It's all what your body is used to. My body was used to being taken care of and was very, very spoiled. Waaaay too fine-tuned to the point of finicky. Now all the freaks are getting back at me, but not succeeding.

I don't have the bugs under my skin (except for ex husband...hee hee) but have the lesions which are diminishing.

Arrrw Kritters , I missed you soo much . Are you going to get on the supplements that 2many told you about. I would recommend anyone too. You won't believe the difference he made to me. Apart from a bit of itching which is probably down to whats left over in my house I feel like a normal person again . Make sure you drink plenty of water and get a good sleep everynight too.

Hannah, I did not tell you but when my mum read the morgellons report in the mail she looked so relieved, like a weight was gone from her shoulders. She has become obsessed with it now gathering information and cursing my GP.. Watch out DR GP of mine!! My mums on the warpath and she takes no prisoners.
I always thought she believed me anyway but deep down she must have been really scared that I was losing it.Anyway it won't be long before the doctors realise their mistake and I know your perfectly sane if thats any comfort..
