flesh around and under sores being turned into a consistency much like watermelon (the inside not the rind).
round, pale scars full of darker dots (small holes i suspect).
a small nob/bump/ball under the sore which is EXTREMELY evasive in so far as when trying to pop it out like a zit or any other means of removal.
sores manifesting in a loosely circular fashion such that if they were to "come to term" they would all likely open into one huge sore.
very easy for your brain to hear voices when confronted with white noise.
noticeable body twitches

and just for fun: ever notice that ecosystems are very stable. and that if one organism starts to dominate the system, it does not last very long.
With one exception.
when the organism dominating the system is not native to that system. like eucalyptus trees in california, prarie dogs, euro disease in the western hemispherel.
point is, the earth doesn't let it happen, period. If things like those do happen, Nature shuts that down in a hurry (except when an organism has been transplanted by man - regardless of mans intent)
That said, then WTF?!?! how did earth manage to fumble the ball so badly and let us over run the planet like so many prarie dogs? Well, as kritters says earth is doing it's job as always, it's man who is out of step. And what did we learn about organisms on earth that are out of step? they are not indigenous to that environment. We are not of earth. we showed up/were planted here from off world. we killed off the homo hablis, and proceeded to try n take their place. But there was one problem. We are not homo hablis and therefore are over running the native system. We did not evolve on earth. Comprende? There's more to this whole being planted scenario, but i'll just let y'all digest this for a minute.

unfortunately, I couldn't read the rest of your post. But you ask the $64,000 question and as a guest on that quiz show, I'd win the pot. We all would.
The earth didn't fumble the ball. Man did. Not man our friend...man who would be king and reap much gold and silver. At our expense. Man who doesn't give a rat's *** (oops.....rear end to those who would be offended at language) about us or our children or theirs. live for today, screw all others.

The ecosystem is doing the job is does naturally, as I'm sure I don't have to tel you. It's the UN NATURAL stuff it can't deal with.

That leaves us to deal with it and we will.
