Hi Carla,

I do not get shocks, but when this was at its worst I would get sensations which were like electrical sensations across back of head area. Still get a few, but it is less as I get better. I am pretty sure that there are neurotoxins which can produce electrical sensations in the body. That is what I think is happening here, and I think it is doing so because this is coming from the terrible pollution which exists in the world today, land and sea, and which changes some critters making them very toxic to all who encounter them. Also, since I caught this from eating fish, I have heard that there are neurotoxins which can even cause death. Maybe this is a lesser version of a neurotoxin, but I do think it would generate a feeling of electrical pulsation in the body if there is an outside dumping from the critters of such toxins.

I was interested to hear from Bubba's post that there is a doc in the CDC who is personally interested in researching this because s/he has morgellons (not happy that he/she has morgellons, do not misunderstand me as I would not wish morgellons on my worst enemy). Things are changing though and perhaps the recent additions to the CDC website are a reflection of the credible influence of this doc who is brave to reveal that this is also a problem for him/her.

best,

tcm

At my worst, I was getting "shocks" and "bites" similiar to static and pinpricks. I had razor like cuts from them as well. I noticed that when I held onto something firmly, it was worse. It would make sense too that tight clothing caused problems.

My son who was just diagnosed with Celiac Disease (Wheat allergy/autoimmune disease of the small intestine) has had more Morg. symptoms than my younger. One of the symptoms is to be more susceptible to bacterial infections. We went to the beach all day Thursday and Friday and he had a horrendous "rash" where the net like insert of his bathing suit was. Noah had a handful and I had none. The other children had nothing. There was lots of seaweed but no yellow or red flag for lice.

Any ideas? I'm hoping that they are purging. A neighbor did yoga on the beach a week ago and she came home bitten up with the same type of "bumps" I hate to be paranoid and some days I pretend that I don't have anything and this is just someone else's story...then I wake up...it's my story.

Hi Melissa,

I remember that your son has celiac--I posted on the site here a message to you with some GF forums and the GF goddess blog page. I know that is a big adjustment for you and expensive too on top of everything else. I am sensitive to gluten but do not believe I am celiac. Still I follow the GF diet except when in a restaurant and get tempted at times to eat wheat. I pay the next day with constipation (not the typical diarrhea). Sometimes it will cause a stomach ache as well. I forgot to mention in that post you can buy some GF food on Amazon by the case and it will save you some bucks. I try things by the box from health food store and if I like it then I can buy by the case. I love the Glutino GF bratzel (like pretzels). It is still expensive compared to regular foods. I minimize the bread use and the sweets, so that way it does not cost so much to eat GF.

Anyhoo, yes I know about the pin pricks and what is interesting to me is that I have had them for years without the morgellons symptoms. So I am wondering about that. I noticed the pin pricks lessened when I went GF (which is a job in itself, but tends to reduce the use of commercial foods for sure--which can only be good for me as processed food are not really nourishing to the body).

When you talk about the rash, I thought of sea lice, but really I think that the oceans are full of toxic critters these days and that if you are suseptible then it may cause problems. Really I think the Eastern seaboard from the Chesapeake Bay area down is questionable as far as being safe to swim in these days, at least for some people. Too many red algae toxic blooms. Even if not active I suspect that some of this is still in the water. I got my morgellons from eating fish (cooked grouper) so that is why I am leery of getting in the ocean anymore. I will no longer eat fish from anyplace, ocean or fresh, as I feel that the waters are polluted worldwide and many are farmed fish with numerous parasites they try to treat with antibiotics etc. Scary picture indeed if you do any research on this.

I think you may have heard of Richard Shoemaker, MD who thinks some seaborne illnesses are from dinoflagellates in the Chesapeake to Fl area. Believe Bubba used his protocol for a bit, but it was not the total solution to this. Yet I think it helped her some. She talks about what she did additionally to get morgellons under control. Still...We cannot be sure, just make decisions based on what we think for ourselves. Not trying to scare anyone, just share what I have been finding out about the oceans. Doing research of your own may be wise. Some think bathing in ocean water is healing and helpful to them and their symptoms. Personally I will not get in the ocean. Or go to the beach.

Paranoia? Well, I think excercising caution may seem that way, but it may increase odds for survival. My heart goes out to you as a single mother trying to take care of two boys who are also sick. I hope that things will keep getting better for you and that someone will finally decide to find out what this is. Which could only lead to better treatments then the stab in the dark ones we have now.

best,

tcm

The funny thing is that last night I decided to do a "beauty" treatment to my hands and feet with vaseline and guess what....? Specs of sand, salt, granular whatever it is came out of my hands. I was truly bothered, but I went to bed and had a productive day today.

I have one big question about my towels. I threw all of my old towels out exept for a few and purchased new ones. I cannot seem to wash them without hundreds of lint balls on the inside of them.

Please advise. I'm so annoyed and am trying to stay strong.

carla - cant say ive ever had a shock problem. has there been any particular weather pattern of late? itchy face - hell yeah. with my recent victories over the sores, i was actually able to go outside and go swimming! well, being submerged in chlorinated water for an extended period did not make my little friends happy and they figurered out that my head stays above the water most of the time. So they've attacked my face and neck. ive kept them mostly as small pimples, but it doesnt take much to get the sores going.... pleeeeeese god!!! it does make me wonder though - little goggles and a snorkel? stay in there like a day or something?

Melissa,

I had lint problems at first, but because we (practitioner and I) used so many herbals at the start this symptom lessened for me. I never threw out my towels as the lint seemed to be dead, so... I used some downy sheets and got much of it out that way. The lint soon lessened as I think we got a lot of the critters out through the bowels and urine. I still get lint stuff in feet, but really I do not feel that I get reinfected by rewashing towels IMHO as I seem to get better from the herbs and other treatments such as foot detox baths despite rewashing towels and sheets (and my house ain't the cleanest--too large to keep after it all, especially when so sick at the beginning).

I think most modern people have a load of heavy metals and this attracts parasites to places in the body which are vulnerable (body weak spots probably differ from person to person). And I feel everyone probably has some heavy metals even if there are no mercury filling to deal with in the individual. Heavy metal is in so many foods and in the environment (air, water). It is pretty impossible to avoid. So I believe detoxing is essential (IMHO) to coax these guys out. I also use a far infrared sauna which has ozone when done with sauna part (person in my community does this). I have a low level laser and a lymph machine. Without all this treatment I think I would be worse than I am. Hope you saw the video I recently posted about heavy metals in teeth and just in general extrapolate that to the fact that probably most have too much in body tissues in the industrialized world. What it does to children is even more debilitating.

Anyway, I know it is scary, but I am glad you try not to be scared as I think the fear makes it harder to fight this. I think that having a spiritual side at this time helps tremendously. Believe you will find answers and you will (this has happened to me frequently over time--as my Grandmother used to say, God will provide).

Take care, and feel free to pm anytime.

best,

tcm

I'm no expert, heck, im not even an amateur, HOWEVER i AM opinionated. I'd guess it has to do with the same (static?) electricity which produces thunder and lightning? yah know? it has something to do with lo and hi pressure systems interacting i think? the humidity... all somehow leaving the air charged in a sense. And you were so kind as to act as the ground wire to release the energy.
