Default My friend

To all the Pms and emails asking about my friend.

linnysue, hi again. My friend, Danny we shall call him, has had morgellons about 3+ years now maybe longer. He has had very bad lows off and on. But you can say that about anybody who is sick. Um he went to many doctors of all kinds and after a while, they just told him its just in your mind. Basically they told him he was crazy in a nutshell. Thats when he became a recluse and really went down hill. Lost 50 pounds and almost died. When he vanished and i saw him again, he was almost a rod. He was a shell of a man that i knew.

But to answer you, yes there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Me and and other couple friends got him out and helped him research all types of treatments. At the time morgellons as we know it now was not around, the awareness of it. So we were researching for basic parasites and worms. To make a long story short, he got into alternative treatments and became to concentrate on a positive outlook on life. He is now doing so much better and regained his weight and is looking so much healthier now.

He is not cured, but he has this now in check and is in much better spirits now. Just so you know, some people take much longer to feel better than others. You have to give treatments a chance to kick in. It took him a long time to get better, but he did.

Franky,

Thank you so much for sharing this story about your friend. We should all have more friends like you who are so willing to go the extra mile to help. Would you be able to share the kinds of alternative treatments your friend used? I would be interested to find out.

I certainly know how you could become very depressed and discouraged. Just when I think I might be getting better, I end up breaking out mysteriously, and I become so depressed over it. I literally am a very different person over this whole skin ordeal. I just don't completely enjoy myself anymore. I constantly have this worry about my skin. Whatever I do, wherever I go, there it is. I wish I could just get rid of it. Oh, how I wish I could be well.

Linda pretty much most of what he took can be found here on the forums. But to be exact, he takes silver, vitamins, immune boosting herbs in tonic form. Honestly I saw the best improvement in him as he got over the depression. I think that was a major key in getting better and he feels the same.

I have no idea what it is that I am doing, but I keep deleting my info after I have practically typed a whole page, but I will do this again...I am also in amazement how u and your friends came to your friend's rescue and helped him in his research of worms, treatments, etc...what it would have meant to me if just one friend or family member would have done that for me...but I am thankful to you because in your quest for information to help your friend, you have helped so many people, including myself, to finally find some treatments, thanks also to Bubba, and to find some peace...to be able to have someone in your corner, and find common threads every time I get on here...so that I know there is a reason that I am doing the things that I am doing, such as the common thread I just read about the bladder control...I am hoping that "they" are trying to leave my body any way that they can...I was thinking that I was just getting old (at 46) and it was just time to buy Depends so that I didn't have to change the sheets every morning...I was so embarrassed at the checkout counter, but ready with an excuse(lie) about having to buy them for my 85 yr old aunt in the nursing home...the things we have to do in the name of Morgellon's...but as I was saying, I am ever so greatful that you were such a wonderful friend to "Danny" that I have found some peace and a way to find the wonderful friends I have here...better than the friends that I have had for 35 yrs...there for you to listen and to believe...whether you see anything or not...what I would have given for just one friend to have believed...

I also want to tell people about my new discovery, thanks again to Bubba for her tip on where to find this...my new mini microscope that is a hand held, pocket sized, microscope with 60-100X magnification that is more clear than my regular microscope...it is wonderful...it shows me all those elusive fibers that I knew were there somewhere...in my fingers, and sees clearly through all my scotch taped specimens...just in case you are interested and in a financial crunch as I am, I got it at Radio Shack for $9.99...pretty cool gadget...even if I didn't have M...

Kentucky haze to be honest, i also have been into health and various medical conditions to be fair. So i am sure that helped me a lot to get into this. But the fact that nobody would even listen is when i really had to try to help him. Hence this site was made for others who have nobody to listen too.

On a side note, send me a PM when ever you have a problem haze. I will try to figure it out for you. There are you just 3 things to do for posting. You either click new topic or respond. Then post.

ladycolorado you got it. Glad we can help out. He actually feels pretty happy about the site. When I showed him the forums and how many people are getting great advice, he was truly moved. Now he just hoping the CDC gets on their *** and starts to work on this.
