As far as the DE you can put some in water and paint it on the walls and ceilings, it will then dry and the critters will try and walk over it and bam it got them. Hopefully, I did start on my bathroom last night and when painting around the litter box, I found things coming from the walls, I would never have seem them with out using the paint, So we painted the bed also. I will let you know how this works as fars as cleaning it up, I use a google search on it. you can put it in a garden sprayer and spray your plants that is what i think we will do, plus our screens, can't hurt anything. I do need to find out, I am at the larvae stage were they are coming out of me, my head, eyes, ears and nose. The acupuncturist gave us a chinese anti-parasite and I have to say, I went and urinated like a normal person for the first time in months no stinging. What a relief that was. I also heard that sulfur 8 shampoo is suppose to kill the stuff in your hair, I have a article on it.
Here is the article makes sense to me, as far as her hair my is doing the exact same thing. Except our local drug store does not sell this stuff YUCK, and I am starting to go broke from all of this.
My nightmare started 9 months ago with a pimple on my head that itched. After the first scratch the more of these "pimples" popped up. Soon my scalp was an oozing soggy mess. Of course, I put Neosporin, Cortaid etc. nothing. Doctor said it looked "angry". At this point my head itched and burned. He thought is was eczema but sent me to a dermotologist who sat across the room, didn't look at my scalp, and said I had scalp psoriasis. As a hairstylist I know you just don't get this, normally you have it elsewhere first, but I tried a coal tar shampoo and clobestol cream that was recommend and that made things much worse. Went back he said I was in denial and I did have psoriasis. Went to aother derm after 5 wks. because the center part of my head was extremely red and inflamed and I startd losing hair in round circles. Was then diagnosed with Ringworm, possibly, they said. Culture came back neg. They think now Seborrheic Dermitisis or Yeast Infection on my scalp. Give me Clobex shampoo. It helps to stop the overall hair loss but not itching and still have round patches missing. Over the next months I didn't see any doctors out of disgust and tried treating myself with home remedies off of a site called Earth Clinic, which was helpful. For a while things would get better then worse but the itching always there. I would feel a crawling sensation through my hair and was almost convinced I had lice. I would check and recheck but couldn't see anything. I used the lice shampoo Rid and the sensation would stop but I also noticed that my hair didn't feel like it was glued to my head and very little came out. About 5 days later all symptoms would return. Back to the derm. and they said no sign of lice I asked about scabies. They said I showed no signs. Over the next month I would wake up to find a pink lump on my head that would itch and hurt and the hair missing. Out of nowhere it would feel like something bite me or stung me and I'd look down at my hand, leg, face, chest anywhere and it would be all red and a welt in the center. The only thing that I found to combat the itching, burning and slow down the hair loss was iodine. I used the colorless on my head and 2xdaily apply w/qtip. When these things would bite me I would put the iodine on and it would sting but the sensation would go away. One night I literally covered my ears and feet they were burning/itching so bad. I tried never to scratch for fear I would spread this elsewhere on my body. I would go back to the docs. and they would say that's interesting and thats about it, nothing to offer. I have basset hounds and noticed that they were having odd symptoms too. Eye infections, wounds that wouldnt heal, excesive itching, fur loss. They were treated with Ivermectin and Lyme Sulpher dip. In all honesty my vet has been a bigger help in all of this than any of the doctors. The dogs got great relief from the sulpher dip we sprayed on them. Around the beginning of the year things got really bad. Up to this point my husband had no symptoms, but the back of his neck, ears started itching. I pretty much new I was dealing with some kind of mite. But which kind. Dogs mites are people limited, meaning if the dogs are treated and not reinfesting you they die. What I've come to realize is that we gave these mites to our dogs. Anyway, went around the house looking, cleaning, for bird, rat mites found nothing, no nests. Around Valentine's Day my neck got extremely red and itching and 2 lesions about 1" long surfaces. Back to the derm. who said it was ecxema. I knew it wasn't. I looked sunburned, swollen, even my hands were on fire especially when I washed them, there were sores on them. I had red lines runing down the back of one of my legs. So back to the regular doc. I convinced her to give me Permethrin cream. I thought this was going to be the end of my 8 month nightmare, Oh my God was I wrong. She said to apply everywhere but my face. I did so and I looked in the mirror and I could literally see a swarm of something running across the bottom of my jaw. So I put the cream on the face too. The next day was an absolute nightmare!!! Apparently this Permethrin cream makes these mites very angry and for the next 3 days these things are biting and stinging me from inside my skin. I had several open lesions which at this point you could see eggs. If you tried getting it off the skin it was difficult because of the glue but once they were off the skin would bleed and seemed to heal and not so painful. The worst was my ears. They felt like they were going to explode. Not the canal but the top part were the crevice is. The mites like to hide in crevices. At this point I went back to the derm. and I told him I think this is some kind of dorment or suppressed scabies. I had bumps and rashes coming up that I hadn't seen in years. Well you'd think he'd seen a ghost. At that point he says to me, clearly you have deeper issues, I'm going to send you to Johns Hopkins, and Good Luck with that". Then leaves me sitting there. Well he's either too stupid to see I'm right or clearly I've hit a nerve because he won't talk to me. I start at ths point using an MSM cream all over my body including head. I stumbled acroos an entry that this helped someone head from itching. Within minutes of using this I can literally feel these things dying. They turn to a rough feeling, like glass when you rub in the cream and it kills them. Over the next week my skin starts feeling "normal" again but if I don't use the cream I'm itching and getting bitten or stung. Because my skin has gotten so bad I've put the cure for my head on hold. The one bald patch I have is the size of quarter and growing and there is balding all along the middle of the scalp. Hair overall I've lost is 50% and it keeps coming out. Well it keeps coming out because its only glued to head its not actually in the head. I found a product called Sulfer8 which interestingly is the ONLY sulfer product you can in regular stores. The MSM cream is a natural sulfer and I bought that at the Wellness Center. MSM is normally used by people with arthritis. Anyway after 2 days of using the Sulfer8 my head is not itching almost at all. You have to use Dawn to shampoo is out, it is greasy, the I use Selsun Blue - it has Selenium Sulfide I've only used that for 5 days now but combined my head it now not itching as much. When I combed my hair while I had the Sulfer8 on it seemed to get up alot of the glue that's on the scalp. After day 2 I can see a bunch of little hairs. The glue trapped the hair uderneath. A good bit of the longer hair seem to be seperating not clumed together too. There's a condition where the hair gets tufted and I believe this is what does it. Since the glue is coming off the scalp now, I think that's why it doesn't itch. When this glue dried on the comb it definately looked like dandruff. This Sulfer8 is packaged to sell for danruff, just like the Selsun Blue. What they ought to call it Mite killer. I'm still in the process of healing, it's going to take a long time. I have been to several doctors, 6 dermotologists - who will NOT talk to me, they don't even sit down in the room with me. I am certain that most people are not asking the questions I am. These doctors want to tell you what is wrong so that you have to keep coming back when they constatntly misdiagnos you. My husband is going to the net appt. to find out why they won't help or don't want to help. My guess is that I'm exactly right, I have a dorment scabies and they won't tell me or talk to me because if they admit I'm right they have a big problem on their hands. I have my husband, my sister and her family, and friends and customers trying these products because of diff. ailments and I'm coming to the conclusion the this dormant scabies is a big cover up. They all conditions that are clearing up. People have diff. skin rashes and for years the docs. say use some cortisone or lotion and it will be fine. Well the problem is these mites like moisture so they live under this lotion/cream that becomes attached then calluses. Layer after layer of lotion and cream these mites live happy for years eventually causing internal and external problems. My health was in serious jeopordy 1 month ago. In the past 8 mo. I've lost 72 lbs., started seeing fuzzy dots the wavy lines in eye sight, eye pain, became unsteady, unbalanced (ears in believe), lumps in head where hair was missing, earache all the time, numbness in hands and feet, cold all the time, severe insomnia, muscle aches and swelling, nose bleeds, forgetfulness - forget how to spell words, extreme thirst, no appetite, headache when waking, suffered from migraines for at least 20 years now, pain everywhere. In all honesty I thought I had a brain tumor or thyroid condition, or diabetes. There's such a fine line between all these disease beleive it or not. After one month of using the MSM cream I have virtually none of the symptoms listed above. The numbness/tingling comes from when they bite you which I'm still getting. The insomnia is still bad, the mites like nighttime, most active. What is intersting is how all these little lumps and bumps I had on my body are now disappearing ones that I've had since I was a kid. The sulfer eats through the layers and keeps killing the mites. I'm now battling a fever blister that I've had since I was 8. Fever blisters/ chapped lips don't really exist either it's just mites. Lips are full of crevices. When you go outside you lips chap because the mites hate cold and they bite you, when that happens your lips contract and are painful. "They" have use beleive we need chap stick or lip balm to make it better, well that just seals them. It builds up layers around the mite and he's there with you for life, just waiting for the right opportunity to resurface. My body is exhausted not to mention my mind from all of this. What I have learned is that the body is an amazing thing. It heals itself. Everytime I rip out one of these mites my skin heals right. No purple marks just pink. The body provides its own moisture with sebum/oil, however if is infested with mites and covered with lotion its not going to work right. When your skin gets dry and flakes, it's actually dead mites your flaking off, "they" tell you, you need lotion for the problem so you cover them up. A rash - no matter how small or big is the body's way of letting you know there is a problem. If you cover up the problem after 35 years or more or maybe less your system just breaks down. These doctors have done this to us. I think they know of this problem but it is so widespread and honestly it would put alot of them out of business if they cured us. All dermatisis are the same thing, it all comes down to the same thing, were all infested with these mites. Some people are on many perscription drugs they can't feel them (they cause anxiety),some can't get docs. to listen, some people have given up. They know something is wrong but when your constantly talked down to or passed off you give up. I'm still waiting to hear from Johns Hopkins, not they'll be any help. But in the mean time I'm trying to tell people what they can do to help themselves because doctors don't want too. I'm trying to keep a journal, pics., swabs/samples etc. so I can somehow go public with this. I hope this helps someone.
