can keloid scars be made smooth by freezing them off by doc?

well i was curious about this subject because where the groshon catheter was for iv meds in my chest, hole healing well o infection. however where the two old anchor stiches a single each for the butterfly to initially hold it to heal, there are now two bumps that are keloid and they are ugly like a huge spider bit me. plus i feel self conscious about wearing stuff with a v neck. i know moles warts can be frozen off by a doc, however i wider if keloid scars can at least be made smoother even if still a mark. any thoughts anybody? Pretty sure the docs might have some answers on this one, plastic surgeons especially might know of something to use externally to make it look better. Might be some prescription creams etc. Or else dermatologists, those dread morgellons nemesi? (nemesises? anyone know the plural of nemesis?) who specialize in cancer surgery (subspecialty of some dermatologists)may have suggestions. I am finding mention of cortisone shots, silicone sheets (they sell some of the silicone sheets in the drugstore--claim is they are like or at least similar to those used by plastic surgeons) to treat keloid scars. Also sometimes they have to do scar revision surgery. The sooner you try to treat (while still new) I think the better the possible outcome.
