Tcmgpt Thats a good suggestion. I think after I go to the Lyme Dr and Gyno this month I will go to a GP and just have them do a complete look over-physical. Hope everyone has a great 4th!

Hi all, I have most of those symptoms, too. A- bloodtype Normal childhood vaccines & illnesses of the 50s/60s (yes, I'm old) I've also had my gall bladder removed. I've always wondered how big of a diff that makes since the right amount of bile to the small intestine kills a lot of bad stuff. 3 things happened to me at about the time I came down with this. 1. I spent 9 days in San Francisco area on fam vacation/bus trip. Ate out every meal, used lots of public restrooms - yuck. I'mkind of germ aphobic, so was washing hands & "Purelling" a lot! Got sick on one meal - very nauseated/diarreah 2. When I got back from San Fran, made a Walmart run. Had on a long skirt (ankle length). When I got in the car, felt like something was biting my ankle. When I looked at my skirt, there was pink sticky stuff on it (looked like bubble gum), but everytime I touched it, or it touched me, it "bit" or "stung". I cleaned it off with "Goo gone" and never thought about it again until started getting sick. I'm not a chemtrail/conspiracy kind of person - but WHAT was that?!? (wish I had saved some and taken it to a lab somewhere) 3. I had what looked like a spider bite on my side right before I left. It was a small, round, swollen, red thing. then it turned more clear like it would pop, but never did. It is still there (over 1 year later), just smaller. I can't pop it or make it leave. I think any one of those things could have introduced something into my system that I haven't been able to overcome. I always thought I was really healthy. Exercise everyday, eat fairly well, normal weight, take extra nutrients, but this thing still got me. Glad to hear Melissa J & everyone else is getting some help! Way to go! I've badgered my fam prac. dr to death & she's getting upset with me. she finally gave me long term Zithromycin, but wouldn't do any of the other protocol. I've been on it 9 weeks, it helps some, but doesn't fix everything. I'm sure I need the other things, too. I guess I'll find another Dr. outside my city (there are no known docs for it here) & try to get fix - I'm TIRED of this!!! Be well everyone! Blessings, JCnMe

Hi, I know exactly how I got this disease -- I was assaulted by 200 bedbugs during one weekend. That was January 2006 and I brought the bedbugs home with me because the place I stayed didn't inform me of anything, although they were completely aware of the problem. They had 400 people staying there and didn't want a stampede out, or to lose the money. I realized 6 months later without a doubt that all my symptoms -- advanced because I kept getting reinfected -- were due to that weekend and all the biting then and since. I went on the net and the first person who talked about getting Morgellons from bedbugs was somebody who stayed at a hotel in San Francisco. He was absolutely positive, as I am absolutely positive this is where it originated for me. And of course there have been many others before and after who realize that insects are often a vector for this disease, both for humans and for poor animals. So maybe you got one adult bite from a bedbug when you were there. My first lesion was on my leg one and a half years ago and it hasn't healed yet. It doesn't feel "active" like my other lesions, but it has that biofilmy type covering, and when I pick it off it just grows back the exact same way. Well wishes to you, bpw

Hi BPW - I feel pretty certain that I probably got this in San Fran. I was there for such a long time (May 06), involved in so many things! I can't point to a particular bug bite or anything, though I was outside a lot! Hope you all are hanging in there! I feel like I am getting better all the sudden, maybe the Zithromycin is starting to work. We'll see if it lasts, but thankfully, my symptoms are way down!!! Yeah!!! I have tried something new. You guys probably already know about it, but I think it may be part of what's helping. I ordered Grapefruit Seed Extract from a company called Nutribiotic. (No affiliation) It's made to take internally, but I was afraid it might interfere with the antibiotic. I have had a lot of trouble with Morgs on my hands and lower arms, so I started putting one drop under each fingernail every night before bed & rubbing it into the nail bed and fingers thoroughly. My hands are much better. Also, I only have one big active lesion right now, but started putting it on there with DSP & a bandaid every a.m. & p.m., it is also looking better. I bought their skin cleanser and first aid spray as well. They are both helpful. They call the active portion "citricidal" so I figured, if it's citrus, I'll try it. Maybe I'm the last one in the message board to try this, but in case you haven't maybe it would help the symptoms. Blessings, JCnMe
