I was pretty amazed when I saw this. A researcher buddy sent me the link and like everyone
has said, its great news. A major step in the right direction. Don't expect any major announcement's yet but hopefully the wheels are set in motion now. I guess my friend wasn't crazy after all!

CDC also is working with task force members to develop a scientific protocol, including an initial screening case definition for the epidemiologic investigation. The working group consists of experts in chronic diseases, dermatology, environmental health, epidemiology, infectious diseases, mental health, and pathology.

They would be wise to include a marine biologist in that group.
