Am I Contagious????

Can anyone PLEASE tell me if I am contagious? Do I need to be concerned about being around others? My sister is going to come stay with me in March, and my bf stays with me when he is home on days off from the oil field. I work every day and am the "hugger" in the company, giving everyone Christian hugs every morning, sharing God's love. PLEASE tell, am I contagious?????? IF so, WHAT can I do to help prevent spreading this to others? ALSO, what do I need to do in my home to help? IE : Carpet, clothing, towels, etc??? I bought some XMite dust for my carpet, will this help? I have been afraid to use it because of the warnings on the bag about skin contact, etc. But, I will use it IF it will help! I am new to all this, positive I have Morgellon's. Have seen the collembola in my hair, all the symptoms line up perfectly! I have SO SO many questions!!! Thank you so much for all your help and support!!

Check out the housekeeping threads. Laundry's really important because your clothing becomes infected. You may find you can't wear cotton anymore; some people even think that the infectious organism or parasites may be transmitted by cotton. You might want to ditch your cotton bedding and get polyester satin; personally, I've had no biting / stinging sensations at night since doing so.

Becoming as healthy as possible is the most important thing you can do so your body can better fight the infection. Stay away from processed foods. If you can't find decent organic or can't afford it, get your produce at a farmer's market that has local stuff. It's preferable to buy very fresh non-organic than the dried-out organic broccoli, carrots and cauliflower you find in chain grocery stores.

About your upcoming visit, that's a hard one and no one can tell you how to handle it. Morgellons probably is infectious but doesn't appear to infect everyone who's in the morgie's environment. Sometimes every family member has it, sometimes not. Even with couples who area sexually active, one partner may not get it.

Okay, thank you, I will check that out to see what I need to do for laundering. My problem is my money is pretty limited so I can't go buying a bunch of stuff if I don't have the money, you know? I bought an electronic cigarette and that is one of my first steps in improving my health. Will go today and get bananas, fresh fruit and vegetables to eat through out the days at work. At least now I can stop all the expensive testing I have been going through trying to find out what in the world was wrong with me! I just need to start taking the steps in getting healthier. I am going to ask my doctor about getting some GABA. I read about that in another thread and if nothing else it will help me to sleep better, and sounds like it will improve my health all around. Going to get salt today so that I can bathe in salt, and wash my hair with the salt/shampoo. Every little piece of advice is so much appreciated. Thank you all SO much! Being a MANIC cleaner is not going to help anyone, if you have parasites kill them, but do not blame your condition on them, parasites are not the issue.

MANY to most internal parasites will easily be killed off with a wide specturm antiparasitic, if your home is infested talk with the experts on eradication, or find a natural alternative online.

I,ll speak for myself only. Contagious is an iffy word with this. For me my house is more contagious than I ever was. Cleaning does help. I even had one wag of a doctor to tell me to quit bathing. I don,t eat off dirty dishes either Doc. Although I proabally could and not get sick. If bathing helps why not house cleaning. Of course cleaning helps!. For you to be contagious in a dry sense is hard to convey it to others. If you sweat against someone then you are contagious. Open lessions against someone is a nono.I trade sweat with other coworkers because I,m a roofer. It just happens. We trade off tools and materials at work.I worry about it and take precautions against it. No method is fool proof, ever! My biggest worry about cleaning is the vacume cleaner. It spreads dust and other fine particles around. When I use it I leave the house for several hours. Just like I would if I debugged from Can,t use the word Bombed)( that bed face appears instead) a can . To Vacume means Get Out! If you have someone that lives with you then they are constantly exposed it in all aspects. If they don,t catch it then my word is they have one heck of a kickass imune system.Glory be and all that! Constant exposure will affect others. If you haven,t tried it yet do a salt bath. 90% of morgies will not do a salt bath because it seems to simple. Can,t work. Be part of the 10% and give it a shot. Salt your house even funiture and bed. Table salt is fine. Spend more money if you can and use dead sea salt or ebsons or even that dumbass 40% salt baking soda. You,ll just be spending more money and no better off. Its the salt that works and not the exotics that kill. At least a box of table salt to a bath. Ten boxes will be ten times better. Two hour soak. Just try it. You will want stock in Mortons afterward. Salt your carpet, yes just sprinkle it onto carpet. Like carpet powder. It vacumes up just fine. But leave it for a month if you can stand it. I,ve even been told buy a few wimps "(but the bugs come out and swim around like they come back at me). And I think,, Ok don,t do the salt bath and have them keep living in you instead stupid. Sorta reminds me of my telescope, people ask me "Can you see the moon?" LOL Yes and I still can see the moon without it. Look up dummy. You will see it to.

I sometimes think the worse part of this is that we as a people that have it are in fact good people. None of us want to spread it to the loved we have in our life. I,m not always well liked here on this board and even get hate mail in my PM box. I,ve even had hate mail on posted boards I don,t use, LOL, was from the same wag though. I believe that I have given it to my son who has Down syndrome. People with DS are already immune compromised at birth. My husband does not seem to have any problems. My son can sleep at night and has a regular GI tract, unlike Mom (whom he refers to as Sweetheart) therefore his symptoms are not quite as bad. He does seem foggy at times. My oldest granddaughter gets bitten but no other symptoms. It seems to attack people with the same genetics. Thanks for the tip about the sheets, sojii.

For the millionth time wash your laundry in Dr. Bonner's peppermint Hemp soap, Whole Foods $8.99 per quart. Clean your dryer with clorox wipes and a vacuum, spray all of your dryer clothes with enzymes and peppermint.

You will sleep in fresh sheets. Hair... try safesolutions.com not nice to lice, follow the directions and use it for a full month. A little goes a long way.

These are just tips for immediate help, won't cure you but you will sleep, which is huge.

Belle9, because I know when I got this, where I was and what I was doing, there is some incite gained by me.

it is most likely what you have now is just what may have been passed to you at birth or a sexual encounter with someone. Your sons affliction could most likely have come at birth, the complications in the womb are multiplied by this disease, some seemingly irrelevant and others life threatening.

Because I could not believe I was the only one in the world with this intense itching and other huge amounts of OTHER symptom disease I watched for 38 years the population and the news of an increasing illnesses.

The illnesses multiplied, the skin of the young and old fouled, children were born with a ever increasing ADULT DISEASE, hair loss and thinning of womens hair, skin anomalies, people complaining of never ending bug bites (WHICH MOST WERE PROBABLY CAUSE BY THE FIBERS OF THIS DISEASE GROWING AND PUSHING THEIR WAY THROUGH AND UNDER THE SKIN) the bug thing has not been proved in any way.

There has been NO diagnosis of what this is yet, NONE, and the doctors themselves can not see any bugs, the insistence of bugs that can not be found has LABELED US AS INSANE.

There are no doubt bugs and parasites that may accomplish such a task but there is literally no common denominator of this.

The only common denominators are, ITCHING, lesions/TUMORS, FIBERS, BLACK SPECKS, these are known.

I do not think that itching and lesions must be parasites, my take on this is it is biological, yes it is using us as a host but the disease is NOT as we imagine a bug or parasite, as in WIGGLY LITTLE WORM, scabies or lice.

Spend most all of your time planing how to eat right, how to make nutritious, natural dinners fast and easy, juicing, blenderizing food with yogurt or probiots to deliver somewhat predigested food to the stomach and stomach and colon. When you eat blenderized fruit or veggies make SURE you allow it to mix with saliva in the mouth. Do yourself this favor and look up all the super foods, a tiny few, PINEAPPLE, BROCCOLI, SPINACH.

EXERCISE With exercise you will have a 100% chance of DOING BETTER than without exercise, this said for all disease, EVEN HEART ATTACK VICTIMS.

I am not the one to come up with this idea, it was the glorious doctors, the god like men wrapped in white linen, spouting the names of new drugs they know nothing about, LOL. Why do I despise these people, LOL.

I have tried almost every thing spoken of here and many more nobody has tried, the bug poison IVERMECTIN I did twice as I found one live parasite in my urine, YES AMERICANS we also do get parasites, ALL humans have them, depending on your travels you may have more than others, I am quite well traveled, a nature person, and animal lover (STILL I WILL NOT LET A BUT LICKING DOG LICK MY FACE AND LIPS) sorry thats for the women animal lovers, LOL. come on ladies laugh you know you do it, LOL. ha ha ha ha

Anyway as usual I have become embroiled in the clean everything that you can not possibly clean and kill the bugs that nobody can see because if you itch it must be bugs, BULL!!!

I have a microscope an what I see are FIBERS and the parasites I have seen are DEMODEX (which most all people have to some degree and the one tiny little wormy guy that came out in my urine, he was one and very hard to find, I am quite sure he was released from my body before he went through his full life cycle, I do not know why or how but where there is one parasite there is usually 50 million and that is not an exaggeration, breeding adults can put out 10 to 50 thousand eggs a day.

I do not hardly have an itch, EVER, you will not see me scratch, so am I cured, NO, may never be cured. I am a clean man and I do not like clutter or filth, but I will NEVER get fanatic over microbes, they CAN NOT BE REMOVED.

I do not care how nice your laundry smells.

PARASITES, if nobody can see them, if no testing can find them, it does not mean you do not have them, everyone has parasites, especially you dog kissers, LOL, if you really need to get a prescription of Ivermectin or other wide spectrim anti parasitic drug and do ONE TREATMENT that should be all thats needed for the parasites that can be killed.
