| Hello everybody! Let me introduce myself. I'm me. Now that, that is done, let me tell you about my story in few words. I got this a little over a year ago through lice. I got lice, then I got a bite on the back of my neck, then the lice were gone and the incectuous bite remained. Then I'd find little black specks on my body, then small fibers, then I got a few more "bites" and would feel as some worms are crawling on my skin, etc. - you know the deal. Hand sanitizer seemed to work a little against this thing as it kills bacteria and little black specks would show up so I rubbed it all over my body and also tea oil which I rigorously rubbed on open sores. The disease might have been slowed down a bit by all that but it continued to get bigger and I was already getting the idea of what I'm messing with. In my efforts to combat the demon, I tried that Mel's protocol - it worked a little but not enough. Tea tree oil baths are good but get a lot of tea tree oil in them and a lot means a lot. Get it wholesale by the pound as they say. In spots where the bogeys lurk I felt burning sensations as I took my tea tree baths and then the sensations would go away. Also before the baths I would feel something crawling on my scalp, and body sometimes too, but after taking these heave tea tree oil baths those sensations went away. At first I cut my hair bald and would need a shave every couple of days because I'd feel burning and itching but now I don't thanks to tea tree oil baths. Infrared sauna is a good thing but not that good in healing this I think. Its Ok. I did it for a while and didn't improve much. That Hildi lady is a greedy one. I just dont trust greedy people... So onward we go. One morning I woke up and my back and neck were in a lot of pain and that's because of the disease. Chiropractor helped with that, oh yes. I still might feel a little stiff at the joint where my arm is connected to the shoulder but after I massage it with coconut oil, some garbage is coming out of my body at the spot I massage. and I feel good as new... almost. Speaking of massages, get a lot of neem oil or coconut oil and scrub yourself down rigorously massaging parts where there is concentration of foreign material. You guys can eat a table spoon of this and that too if you like nasty tastes. Another thing that don't taste that nasty is borax from Ten Hammer detergent with water. I drink half of teaspoon on a liter and am fine and dandy and it seems to work a little. I'm a bit scared to put more but I had a dream where I was told to put a table spoon but dreams are odd sometimes... Some doctors are scared of this disease. They follow procedures, but they know whats going on and none of them can help as there is no cure or even a definition. In some databases it is said that if you say Morgellons then you have Delusional Parasitosis, so that's what most doctors say as they are sort of like trained monkeys. But they can prescribe some ointments that might help a little or some antibiotics that again might help a little. Different supplements might help too, might not help... They are good I guess within certain limits... I take them sometimes but not too fond of them unless they are anti parasitic supplements because they kind of helped but not really though after I was on them for three months I got really dry forehead and neck and now deceased nanotransformation site informed that that was a sign of the illness getting healed. Speaking of that site, its a damn shame someone spooked them. Concerning this disease there is a lot of really fishy stuff going on and its just sad that these are the blackest days of the darkest age. Anyways, 2 weeks ago I came to a TCM place run by Chinese and they said they can try do some acupuncture that might help but they didn't think it would cure and in my opinion they would have just sucked my money if I would have went to them, so I went to a different place. The owner was a TCM acupuncture specialist and ALSO he had a large stock of Chinese herbs and I got a relatively large bag from him with the mix of herbs that he though might help my problem. I make tea 3 times a day and don't eat certain foods. Two weeks passed and I am healing from this faster then from everything else. Sores are naturally drying up and skin around them is turning brownish color that eventually turning into normal skin. 2 weeks is nothing compared to what people going through but it is my presumption that if I heal with the speed as I was healing then in half a year to year I'd be fine. I'll wait for couple of months and see how I'm doing and if its good, I'll talk to the shop owner if he could sell this stuff (mixed bag of herbs for tea) online so all the folks in need get benefit from it. May all beings be happy and free from suffering! Last edited by DonArmogi; May 27th, 2010 at 11:22 AM. Reason: slight corrections in grammar |

| Hi DonArmogi and all: Glad to hear you are feeling better. I've been working on a TCM herbal formula by giving herbs for soup, tea and supplements to my friend who has fibers emerging from skin. I've been doing this TCM care as a licensed professional since 1985 and did not plan to get involved with M's, as I am mostly retired and no longer have an office or much of a private practice, but now am very interested in getting TCM herbs for my friend. I think it is great you can deal with the herbal decoction. For those who are not familiar with this process, the traditional method is to take the prescribed batch of dried herbs, boil them to make a broth twice in a ceramic pot, and consume the broth for 2-4 days. The problem with the tea is that many people can't tolerate the process of brewing it and do not like the taste. There are modern methods of giving herbs too. I had a private practice doing this type of thing and I think TCM herbs are much better than acupuncture for this particular disease. A lot of patients wanted me to change them over to a different format. For example it is possible to take the bag of herbs, and the big TCM herb supply houses can grind the herbs into powder, then encapsulate them into veggie or gelatin capsules. The older method was to grind them into a powder, then take a little honey and a little oil and mix it up into a little ball like dough, then sort of roll out into a breadstick shape and chop up the stuff and make small pieces, roll it by hand into round shapes. then when they dry, they are hand made pills. you get the idea. This is always a problem, just the format. The traditional herbal remedies are also often made by harvesting wild herbs in Asia which are away from the lab or processing factory, and then they have to be treated with sulfur to preserve them. After that they are handled several times and sometimes rehydrated before a final drying process, after which they are packaged then sent out, often to north america. The sulfur and rehydration damages the medicinal qualities of many if not all of the herbs. I'm wrestling with this because I now have a few people who want my help and am wondering what the most effective form, balanced with convenience for modern living will be. Plus I would want unsulphured herbs for this disease, but they are not what is readily available in chinatowns in the americas. I am holding back putting out a mixture for sale on the internet due to some concerns that people need such individualized herbal remedies that it might be better to offer the herbal supplement wholesale to licensed experts, such as TCM doctors, OMDs, LAc's etc as they would be able to modify or supplement the formula with other herbs to more fully balance the body. also I've had several conversations with lay people who keep saying things to me like, well they're herbs, natural so they can't hurt you like drugs. That is not actually the case and more TCM herbs have contraindications than not, so giving an herb to someone with a particular health condition can be a risk. What you describe sounds like the TCM doctor made a formula specifically for your condition. Even very experienced TCM herb doctors consider treatment of this M's to be a specialty within the TCM field....Next week two suppliers are supposed to give me an idea of how they would mass produce a formula for me. I have no idea how to do this as each patient I treat has a custom mix/recipe/formula, and then as the symptoms change, there are modifications which are done to best address the problem. However with this M's disease there are several very common skin and systemic problems and there are so many people that could potentially be helped that it seems like it makes sense to figure it out. Most traditional TCM doctors stock a lot of herbs, around 150 to 200 at least sometimes more, and make each patient's mixture by hand. Let's say your TCM herbalist, or me, or another expert wanted to help more people. While there are many "patent" or premixed TCM herb mixtures, typically the demand for any one of these newer formulas (like one for M's ) is pretty low in any one doctor's office, so it is okay to make up, say 5 batches of the tea mixture for a patient. But a new method has to be made for mass production. And then I'm wondering if its better to sell wholesale batches to licensed health care professionals and give them the diet info too. Diet does impact this disease and there are certain foods to have and to avoid to optimize the effectiveness of TCM herb treatment. also you are correct- even if this herb soup you have helps, it is not going to be like an antibiotic drug where it is taken 7-10 days and you're done. You might be right, that it will be 6 months or so. For these difficult diseases I have sometimes had to give patients herbs for 4-8 months. Usually if treatment is done properly, with a correct TCM diagnosis early on, the disease is less deep in the body then it is a shorter period for treatment. the way the herbs work is to boost the body's own natural systems. I have treated people with other difficult diseases and seen them regain their health but yes it can take months if it is a hard to treat illness. I am feeling a little isolated and am trying to get in the groove here. My teachers and mentors have passed away, and my classmates are retired. The newer TCM practitioners frequently do not have the experience and training to effectively cope with M's. The experienced ones are often dealing with a language barrier if well-trained in Asia. TCM schools do not have experience with this disease. It is an emerging disease and I've consulted with two big TCM north american supply houses and they are only now getting inquiries about premixes for this disease and there are none yet. I do want to help my friend, then found this board. It sounds like many patients are dead-ended with this M's through their MD's. The question I have to ask is how can I best help the most number of people, assuming my friend does continue to improve, and I think I understand the herbal remedy? Do I give a seminar to the doctors? make a DVD to help train the TCM herbalists who are not familiar with the TCM diagnosis and treatment of this problem? Do I try to treat several more before moving on (I have 4 people with similar problems that I can give this formula to now, but only two are just now starting on it) to getting something mass produced? My main motivation here is not money, but just to help people because I have come to understand that this illness an cause a great deal of suffering, physical, emotional and psychological. . . . I have been giving my friend herbs for free, but I can't afford to give the herbs away for free for long either (as I am to my friend). They're not that expensive, but they're not free to me either and treatment may have to be on going for a while. Also I have had the experience where patients want the herb tea remedy but prefer to ignore the special foods or diet particular to their problems. Many people should be avoiding dairy and processed foods but can be very attached to their habitual comfort foods. TCM herbs can be in pill form. I am thinking...that would be easier to deal with for most people? Constructive input from sufferers is appreciated. best regards Jean Quote:

| Thanks Jean for explaining to forum members why it is so difficult to prescribe one size fits all herbal formulas in TCM. It is very hard for those who have had exposure to mostly Western herbs to understand this, as in Western herbalism herbs are expected to act like drugs. I think this attitude is starting to change as more Western herbalist get beyond the modern Western medical outlook to reach out to other herbal traditions such as TCM and ayurvedic. I have found that people who have been trained in acupuncture and herbs in the US often lack adequate knowledge about how to prescribe herbs. Most seem to rely on the granules along with teapills which have dominated the TCM market in the US. I think that is because people fear the raw herbs from China which as you mention often contain sulfur, are not always fresh, and often contain heavy metals. There has been some effort in the US to try to grow some of the Chinese herbs which are not available in the US, but this is in its infancy. Also as I am sure you are aware some herbs which are not grown in their native area just are not the same in effect. This is why some herbalist are attempting to find good herbs grown in the US to substitute for Chinese herbs. People like Michael Moore of the Southwest Botanical College and Michael Tierra are some who seem to be exploring in that direction. Since you are in Nevada it might be possible to contact some of these people to find herbs which are native to the Southwest US to help us regain health. Michael Moore - SW School of Botanical Medicine Home Page Here's a place in Nevada which sells some of the SW herbs: "Desert Bloom Herbs Online Herb Store" Have to run, more later. tcm ![]()

| Hi TCM, thanks. today I'm working on sorting out some of the detailed feedback my friend is giving me. More on that in the next few days. I will make a new batch to give to my friend tonight, so this is a second revision. Hopefully we'll hone in on it quick now. As far as herbal remedies go, it is traditional to have the broth with the older diet which includes basic foods plus pungent spices. We don't eat like this in the USA. We could, and M's patients could but that's just not what we do. My friend has fibers in the skin. But my friend is overall just recently showing symptoms and generally very healthy, has very few and only minor skin symptoms, yet there is no question the symptoms are M's type. Diet: does eat a great deal of ethnic foods, and tonight is also going to having the soup, which is sort of the second part of the remedy that I've developed. the soup includes fish, beans, pungent spices, and some whole grain seeds. It is very inexpensive and easy to make - we're trying to optimize the effectiveness of the herbs, and so both the soup and the medicinal herbs are a good bet. More on that when I know more. I'm in unexplored territory here but am extremely hopeful since things are all going in the right direction already. The issue is something like this - the traditional herbal remedies have been based on a culture with a certain unchanging diet, a diet that was generally about the same from about 1500BC until about 1900AD or so, meaning for 3500 years a lot of foods were the same, and it was during the period from about 1400 years ago that the materia medica for both herbs and food were observed, and, they go together. That means changing the diet a lot will affect the impact of the herbs too. So both have to be in the mixture for optimal healing. I have always advised patients that the herbs are to be taken with a simple healthy diet that is more similar to the the old Asian foods, no sodapop, no dairy foods, no processed foods, no fast foods. There are some herbal formulas that work great for everyone but they are usually for an acute condition... For an emerging disease that is a different story. . . . I'm working on the best source for the herbs and believe I have a couple of suitable suppliers, one for the decoction form, and the other in a more modern form (more on that as I sort it out). best regards Jean Quote:

| thru the century's would you not imagine that the SCIENCE of herbal treatment was based more on how we are the same then how we are different. If science is based on how the treatment of a certain disease is treated differently in everyone would that not present a problem for the observent healer. The variables are as great as the grains of sand on the beach. If we are plagued by one same item, the practitioner may have a male female dosage difference for weight and hormonal situations, but to imagine disease is all different or systems that mix the same chemicals in the body for the same outcome would be so far off. If this was the case then think about this, one day you get sun, BIG CHANGE, now you have vitamin D in your system which alters your WHOLE system for that day, next day you take doctors pills, they in turn completly alter gods idea of how the systems work, today you did alot of work and exuded a large amout of the bodys happy drug, your frightened by a dog adreniline, so many many varibles of our systems day by day that to say we are all different would be true ON ANY GIVEN DAY WE ARE ALL DIFFERENT FROM OURSELVES, so treatment of your vector disease do not depend on your system so much as the system of the invader I would think. What I am saying is this, the TCM practitioners thru thousands of years treated disease it self to find truth in treatment, not people and their quirky adjustable body situation. Most likely what helps one of us with the main vector disease will help everyone of us. Otherwise the doctors and scientist will NEVER have basis for their conclusions of what will help what condition, first they would throw water on you then gas, then set you on fire, then run back and put the fire out with water, then start all over again, there can be NO conclusions from this sort of helter skelter idea. i would be more prone to see 100 people treated with sulpher and see 90 percent of all their rashes heal 3% develope lumps on skin, 1% get worse, 4% lips turn purple, then do another 100 with the same rash and see 87% of their rashes heal, then another 100 and see 92% heal, those are very good odds but you do get my drift. There has always been a control group for each and every natural treatment. |

| Help me out here since I'm new to this - please point me to a study or website, other than the case definition which provides a list of common symptoms. Or do you think I should use the study of 122 people as the symptoms guideline? |

| We could go with the very first diagnosis, DOP, how is that one, delusions. First we stop the delusions. maybe just the delusions of grandeur. Well then we might mosey over to the other things, well lets just take the name some have given this, (THE ITCHING DISEASE) would you say that could be one of our main issues, Then lets go on to the other name (SKIN DISEASE) lets just imagine that the lesion/tumors could be abated by such natural plant life. Maybe with all the call to parasites we could possible address the LIST of parasites or lets just imagine the LACK of infestation by treatment. Fibers seen with microscope in and on every part of our bodies, this is the one to use to diagnose with. I can easily see it in a whole family's fluids, nose, blood, urine, skin, mouth. How's that, jeanlong, I think that is a good start, lessen the fiber load and abate the disease, can't be sure of this but if you let one weed grow in the garden next year there will be 500. Then again jeanlong, if we just stand in a dark closet where there is no light, would we be cured of seeing, we could just imagine there is NOTHING wrong at all, then we would not have to start looking for anything we would be perfectly , well, perfect. I think that is the answer, because we do not have the same disease, we are like the people of the city of Babel, when the great tower collapsed we just all went running in different disease directions, OMG we all must have been made special. I know I am, LOL!!!! Last edited by Baraka Obam; May 31st, 2010 at 01:35 PM. |

| Do you have pictures I can view of those? What magnification? Yes, I saw fibers on my friend's skin a while ago. Need a magnifier - can't view those without a magnifier. OK I understand there's itching, and bumps and raised lesions too. Quote:

| jeanlong have you got a microscope yet? Get one, you will not have to wonder at all the shape of the fibers, they are flat with a twist to them. Seeing I do not know exactly which end they develop from i do not know if the twist is always right or left. I will have to study on that, right or left twist, the twist you will see much better with your own magnifyer, I will trade all my purple ones for your blues, deal, purples are harder to come by, thus COLLECTER FIBERS, we can start to trade and swap. | This disease is of fire element. And wind too. It feels like wind moves the fire. Sometimes fire gets too strong in an area and produces phlegm which is highly toxic and burns a hole in skin or a laceration can be produced. Every 3-4 weeks, in my case usually on a full moon, there is an attack as if it gets more power. TCM guy I am seeing got trained here, but he is a very smart guy. He has never heard of Morgellons and I didn't talk much about it. I didn't talk of fibers and such. I just said its like a lime disease but its not and I showed him my scarred arms and "tattooed" back. I dont know the herbs but as for food he told me not to eat sugar and not to eat honey too and no chemical sweeteners. Also he said no tomatoes and no potatoes and no eggplant. I've been on this for 2 weeks and I know that my body is healing faster. These illness is spreading while body is healing so it appears to me the body is winning bigger then loosing. I'll have to be on this a while longer to see better. The fact of fiction that its fibers and what these fibers are made of doesn't matter. Lets call them earth. So fire produces earth through water and earth produces phlegm through iron. Iron because of lacerations and its whats left. 5 elements are always together. 6th - the void, or space, or breath, or mind is you and me. That is what can harmonize the disharmony in the body. Take care of number 6. If you have something to worry about, think how lovely is the rain. OM AH HUM. I am not a Chinese doctor and I don't have Chinese books. Information I have is limited. Elements are elemental and universal, herbs are territorial. We need the element of water. What herbs are big in water element? .. P.S. After reading this over, I guess I got more elements then needed. Oh well. I'm not that good at Calculus.
