To get back to the subject (cure or remission):

I have posted this many times, but I will repeat it. I have been symptom-free for almost a year and a half, although I have seen a few small white fibers during that time (coming out of my knuckles).

Iwill not use the word "cure" because I believe this is a total body penetration, and there may be things going on below the level of awareness. But I am "settling" for not being tormented by symptoms that I can see or feel.

I accomplished this by following Dr. Staninger's protocol. She has many other patients who have achieved similar results; I have been in contact with some of them and know that this is true. (Incidently, she does not use the word "cure", either. Be VERY cautious of anyone who is peddling products that claim to cure.)

I know of at least 2 other people who have achieved a similar status, but using different approaches. One has been symptom-free for a year, the other for two years.

Also, JWF, his wife, and mother-in-law have all been in a remission state for a few years, using a protocol that John developed. I believe the details of that protocol are somewhere on this site.

The people who dissappear - I think some have gone into remission (as one of the people I mentioned above wants nothing to do with Morgellons; won't even use the word). But others have simply given up, one way or another.

My daughter & I have been in remission over a year and a half. I haven't seen the black specks or glitter, nor have felt the biting or creepy crawly sensations. I am strong and my spirit has returned. However, I still have nematodes (slugs?) and small lesions.

I haven't disappeared from this site cuz I want to help everyone else get better too. I remember what a nightmare this "Morgellons" can be. I will never stop posting because "you" are part of my family.

Love,
~jonsi

Hey Jonsi,

You're a sweetie, you are!

Where do you see the nematodes? From your skin? Have you scoped them?

Glad you and your daughter are so much better!

I threw away my magnifying glasses and jewelers scope a few years ago. I could never identify cell walls or internal organs in anything I pulled from my body. I tried to show my dad some samples under a microscope one and her agreed that whatever it was was not natural.

I turned to homeopathic & natural medicine. I do know that taking pharmaceutic medications did not help and made me sicker in the long run.

The "nematodes" are in my nose (buggars), menses (slugs), and I pull clear velcro sheets from my lesions... not much blood from my lesions.

I co-exist with whatever this is. Sticking to a good diet really helps. Unprocessed food and organic food are mandatory. Getting desensitized... blah blah blah! I feel like a record

Hi Jonsi... so glad to hear your news.... I have to say I am so much better too... been off all antibiotics for about a month now.. still on all the herbal, vits detox stuff etc.. but hardly anymore to see ... When I clean my face and look with my magnifying glass in the morning I sometimes see tiny little threads, like a tiny piece of black cotton... I also have them still in my lungs and occasionally cough up those little brown shapes that look like amber which I used to get off my body and find in my bed........I have a nebuliser now which brings them up and helps a lot... so does collidal silver and garlic... no lesions anymore. I drink a desert sppon of DE everyday and wipe it all over my face at night. works a treat.
Good luck to everybody... you CAN get better.. and who knows maybe cured one day. I agree that diet is so important too. I have a completely raw breakfast of fruit and vegs and nuts ! you do get used to it !

Cynical, which would be the bacterial based enzymes? I would think they all fall under that category.

I have only budgeted in one gallon of enzyme cleaner so far, and 2 of the enzyme shampoos. The shampoo helped a lot, the cleaner a little.

BUT.. I was just about to make my own enzyme cleaner. Since I can't afford the other stuff I thought I would give homemade a try; so I am curious what you mean specifically. (I have all the supplies and was going to start it probably tomorrow.)

Thanks

Also, I totally agree with you about the water flow. I was using public laundries and I think that was part of the problem. Also, all the showers I had access to were low flow.

Now I have excellent water flow in my new apartment, and teh laundry here is much better. It makes a HUGE difference.

Yes Fracty, Hope, hope, hope!!

I feel and look about 85% better, from being totally infested by 2007. I work full time and have clawed back alot of my life. Salt, essential oils, GSE and green tea have been the constant treatments that have worked good for me.

(about the prayer day - it didnt quite happen in Aug!! - thinking we should pray on the CDC rally day for sure. Jonsi - celebration day sounds cool!)

Jo xxx
