I took my daughter to Dr. Amin, and even though the air fare was free, I spent over $600.00 and my daughter couldn't tell any difference. I can tell you what he told us, "Go to a Holistic dentist, and have all your dental work re-done." No blood tests were done, and I didn't have a specimen to take to him as she was there in person. Like you, we did not have the money to do everything as he said for us to. That was three years ago, and we are still searching for that "MIRACLE CURE". She tried the alfalfa pills, in the bath and taking them internally, but they are still effecting her, maybe not as bad, but still there. An ER doctor told us last night that he didn't have time to find out about her, as he had never heard of this, and basically said for us to go to a dermatoligist, which we had done that, with basically the same results. I understand your flustrations, as we are experiencing them also. I wish I could find a support group with the same disease, but I haven't been able to find one here. Does anyone know of any? Carole

I had had all my amalgams removed 20 years ago. I still got Morgellons, so I don't necessarily see the connection. If the doctor is suggesting that we have dental toxicity first and then Morgellons second, it doesn't make sense in my case. Thanks.

Have you been tested for lyme?

I had skin lesions and some neuro sensations, I thought it might be dental toxicity as I had had 3 fillings replaced. and my problems started shortly after that.

but i am also dx with lyme.

it's hard to sort out with so many co-facctors. and differential diagnoses.
