In your photo you can start to see the network of lines starting, the micelium.

Yes, I believe there is that type of communication among the lesions, etc. on Morgellons patients. I believe what is going on is ANASTOMOSES. This means that any break in the "network" or mycelium, will be met with increased "vigor" to patch the break. It is a form of communication in the fungi world.
Gee, it's a fungi world.

Default Nem-Trap Movie

Here's link that shows the black specks on the micelium and the nematode getting entrapped.

Kammy, I believe the lines that connect to form the matrix of the mycelium are called hyphae. Once the network is formed there is communication to "fix" any break in the system. This is called anastomoses.
Did I send you the link about why these progress in circles?
Here it is:

The mycelium/hyphae network is a 3-dimensional creation of arthrobotrys. It should appear very dense under a scope. The black specks are the sticky knobs. I think you have captured the fungal mycelium excellently! This is important!

Now that I'm pretty certain that we are dealing with the parasitic fungus arthrobotrys, the question is, how do we keep it from forming the sticky nets. There is some information about that and sugars, namely oligosaccarides. The link I have is for a different species but we need more research on the inhibition of the formation of the adhesive nets. In this link they talk about Bovine mucin (something like that) - does that mean a component of cow's milk. If so, we might be able to put that on a lesion, or a form of oligosaccarides, and at least inhibit the lesions.

Look Sarothra - it looks like you've got this almost figured out - we put milk on them and take an iron bath?... lol (I'm really tired right now... the first shift will be on soon...).

Whyyyy, ya'll will have this figured out by noon tomorrow. I'll just read about it tomorrow night... lol

I'm glad we're finally figuring this out, what a puzzle it's been?

Is Russell Crowe in any of those worm movies? I'm going to watch all 18 of 'em, if he is?

Another link on how to inhibit the capture/formation of adhesive traps.
This is hard for me to understand. Does this mean if we put glucose on it will increase or decrease the formations? Maybe I'm just getting tired.

This is from my other post.

Primary cutaneous aspergillosis

Primary cutaneous aspergillosis Prasad PV, Babu A, Kaviarasan PK, Anandhi C, Viswanathan P - Indian J Dermatol Venereol Leprol

..Aspergillosis is an uncommon opportunistic fungal infection

... It also occurs in patients who are receiving long-term corticosteroids, antibiotics or cytotoxic drugs and in immuno-compromised states.

Primary cutaneous aspergillosis may present as macules, papules, plaques or hemorrhagic bullae, which may progress into necrotic ulcers that are covered by a heavy black eschar..

...Aspergillus species are among the most ubiquitous fungi, seen in soil, water, decaying vegetations and any substrate that contains organic debris. The respiratory tract is the most common primary portal of entry. After candida albicans, the aspergillus species is the second most common cause of human opportunistic fungal infection.

Voriconazole is a new antifungal agent found to be effective in aspergillosis or itraconazole.

I had that black mass on my hair..remember the pictures? Always wondered what that is..thought it was some type of fungus. Sometimes the black mass was even in my pores on my head. I have several pictures,
if anyone is interested. Could it be that if there aren't any lesions this stuff comes out the pores and hairfollicles??
