Hi folks,
found this site about NAC and it's chelation benefits.
I'm taking this for several weeks now together with other stuff. My Lyme Doc said this is the best detoxer generally and he recommends using this while under Lyme Treatment but not only as it has strong detox effects on heavy metals too.

NAC IS just one of my "GET BETTER" supplements..and it really helps. I could actually SEE the toxins in my urine...

NAC (N-Acetyl-Cysteine) For Mercury Detoxification

This is VERY IMPORTANT...you should take atleast 3 times the ammount
of Vitamin C.

...N-Acetyl Cysteine is one of the pillars of a good mercury detoxification program, the others being chlorella, MSM and the herb cilantro, which is discussed here. My favorite source for organic cilantro in 1 pound bags is here. Garlic is also a good mercury chelator...

Thanks Paul... I was just thinking about the rife info you sent. I'll be doing it probably next week or as soon as I can pry my body out of chronic and pathetic inertia.

I realize this thread is "old" but I would like to revive it for the time being. I have done many things to detox and have experienced particles in the urine prior to my using NAC with other things I have done. Katinka, you mentioned you saw the toxins in your urine. I am curious as to what you saw.

I combined Cats Claw 6,000mg, NAC 1200 mg, and Vitamin C4,000 per day for a few weeks. I have now gone down to 600mg NAC per day with the rest staying the same. With the 1200 mg NAC in the combo, I also saw stuff in my urine. It has stopped sinced I lowered the dose of NAC. I plan on upping it again, to see if I get the same result. Warning.....I did experience a magnesium and potassium deficiency and experienced heart rhythm abnormalities rectified since.

For what I saw in my urine, I can't believe there wasn't any pain. Some of the stuff coming out was quite large. Really, some looked to be fungal hyphae and of course the black specks. Does this sound similar to what you experienced? I am curious, how many mgs were you taking of NAC to get this affect? Similar to my own?

Hi Frito, first of all, please let me apologize for my delayed reply.

Well..it was when I was taking high doses of NAC together with Vitamin C where I actually have noticed that my urine was dark yellow and had whitish, cloudy, stringy substances in it. Sometimes I had also what appeared to look like black specks and 'wormy' looking specimens. But the most significant appearance was sort of a grayish, slimy clump I had one day. I fished it out with a pair of tweezers and put it on a slide to set under my microscope. As I looked at it, I saw that the mucous looking specimen was full of hairs/threads/fibers..I spread it apart, as suddenly I have noticed something moving. I switched on the video mode and made a video of a worm with a fiber attached to it's rear end trying to hide from the light of the scope very quickly. After a few seconds I 'lost' it within the substance. Anyway, I was pretty shocked to see such a thing floating in my urine. Someone here posted something similar I think.

NAC and Vitamin C are part of my 'standard' protocol, since several months now. I took 3x 500mg NAC and 3000mg Vitamin C with Bioflavonids in the initial phase. That was the time where I saw the most stuff leaving my body. I'm still using it, but went down to 1000mg daily and 2000mg VitC, adding Multivitamins with additional amounts of VitC. I personally think NAC is the BEST supplement to rid toxins over kidneys and liver and I don't want to miss it.

A few weeks ago, when I got re-infected again, I had a strange looking specimen, that looked like a fungal conidia with attached hyphae on both sides. I found a picture, but lost it. Perhaps I can find it again and post it here. I do remember it was a fungus though. Anyway I am glad it left!!..I don't care how this stuff leaves my body actually..I just want to get rid of it in any way possible.

Although I'm doing better again as the symptoms have decreased, I still see strange specimens in my urine occasionally, but not as much anymore and my urine seems to look normal again..

I would really like to add some pictures here and also on LB, but unfortunately my computer crashed a few weeks ago and I lost ALL of my Morg pix and videos..grrrr...gosh..I would like to join the 'picture party' too.....
especially the video I made with the worm..should have loaded it up to youtube but didn't think about that at that time..

So..what do you think, Frito? Did/do you have something similar?

Yes, I certainly did have something like that. Chelating it does. I had the black specks, and then I also had these branch type things colored brown, and then the mucous as well. I have yet to slap anything on a slide from the toilet. But I probably will. Eck. You know, some of this stuff was so big, that I was incredulous that there was no pain. I experienced this taking only 1000 mg of NAC and Selinium and 4000mg of Vit. C.

NAC has become part of my standard protocol as well. Quite pleased with it, but I have a concern on its purported ill effects and CHF. What do you think about it?

I went through a couple of weeks with this stuff coming out in my urine. I have had nothing since. It is clear like it should be.

Since I haven't photogged anything from the toilet yet, with that in mind and only visual, I can't really say whether what I saw is similar to yours, but I sure will find out here soon enough. Need to get more slides.

Hi Frito, looking forward to see your pix..hmm...I need to laugh a little here..could you have ever imagined before we've became afflicted with this horrible disease that we ever wanted to look at strange objects exiting out of our bodies?..and saying..'looking forward to it'?.....where are we heading to?

I believe many here would also be interested in seeing your pix, Frito. Perhaps there are others too that made the same experience like us?

btw..what's CHF?..I'm not good in 'short cuts'..lol..but if you're referring to kidney stones..well..yes..that might be a problem if you don't make sure to take enough Vitamin C to prevent them.

Good to see ya here..and I'm glad to hear you're doing better..so..do you think the NAC was useful to detox?..and you could rid it?...at least what was in the kidneys and bladder?

I'm not seeing 'anything' in my urine at the moment either...good!..I would say!
