This is interesting info, standswfists. I never heard of foot detox therapy. I watched the demonstration video and that water sure looks gross after the process. You can add scented bath salts too. Seems very relaxing. It certainly would be worth the price if it does bring healing results. Like Mary, I am wondering which unit you purchased. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the idea...ive been wanting something to soak feet and that sounds ideal. Let me add another thing to the great ideas list. Last night i went to target and saw a new Oxygenics hand held shower. Our water pressure is not that good, so this item couldnt be passed up. The quilt was pretty bad....$49, until i took a shower. WOW! Im not sure what the long term effects will be, but emotionally it felt like i was blasting all the dry skin and fibers off my body! Remember feeling squeeky clean....this will do it. On the down side, the relaxing sound of shower water is replaced by this strong blast of water, and the wind storm generated on the shower curtain. But, it has an adaptor that you can turn the blast down to a trickle. WOW...it was worth the money!

Chester, This is what I do, it's called the "Power Shower"( hot Water). It quite literally blasts them off your body. Even better is to SMOTHER them. This is done by lathering up your whole body with soap and letting it dry for 15 minutes, then rinse. I think the people who are selling the magic soaps, are just smothering them and the ingredients in the soap, doesn't matter that much. I like the feel of the menthol soaps best but any soap will do. WTG

Thanks for the welcome and sorry for taking so long to reply. (Too much going on and not enough time in the day, lately). Tomorrow, I will have a little extra time~I'd really like to say a few things about my wild experience with this detox machine.
Expensive, I thought so at first, too. The first one I looked into or actually saw demonstrated was running for $2200.00 but because they were running a special at this home and garden show, they were selling them for $1740.00. Still up there pretty high. So I searched around on the internet, educated myself a bit on proper amps and such and found a great deal on ebay. In fact, the system I did purchase is nicer than the one they wanted $1740.00 for and also came with the ph test strips and far infrared ray bamboo charcoal belt. She had several different systems that she was and still is selling. This particular system, she rated as top of the line. I am happy with it.
I called her, as I had several questions and preferred to use my credit card that was not tied into paypal. She gave me a great deal and out the door, shipping included for $460.00. She had them listed on ebay for 489.00 and 25.00 to ship.
She sells alot of these systems, particularly to a woman, she explained is a missionary who spends alot of time in other country's. The people she has used these on have been so pleased with the results, they all want one.

Anyways, Apparel Hut is the seller. I don't have exact auction in front of me, but type in ION-DETOX-AQUA-FOOT-SPA. Or just the word IONIC would probably pull up her auctions.

I'll get more detailed tomorrow. For now, really super sleepy and I must go find my pillow.

My husband is a heavy equipment mechanic and does alot of welding. He had every indication of this in his water results.
I put an xxx after each thing I had in my water. I will probably bust out my microscope after my next treatment. I am wondering if I might be able to locate an fibers. This just crossed my mind???
I also had my 11 year old son do a treatment. I had no idea that he had pinworms but according to the water afterwards...he did.
Every person who did this treatment (my dad and my father-in-law were the other two) had differences in their water that backed their lifestyle. My dad is a heart patient. He also has a stent. His water had the red flecks in it.
I think my husbands was the worse of us all. Therefore, I posted in the acrylic/sex thread.

So this is what I have been wanting to get posted, for anyone skepticle. I was very skepticle, too. Especially after I have tried SOOOOO MANY THINGS!!!!

It would be really great to hear if someone else has successfully tried this protocol. We could really possibly have something, here?!?! SURE HOPE SO!!!

Yup...wanted to back you on this. I take the same protocol with Grandmother's Lye soap (found it one day at Ace Hardware). Let it dry in my hair and before jumping into the shower, will dampen it and pull a lice comb through it. It removes alot of gooky looking things as well as tiny white fibers or hairs or whatever they are. I just wrote this somewhere else. But I have not tried the full body blast thing. Because I think I might just be going through this die off stage after this Ionic deal, I might just try your method.

I hear when a positive affect of something is taking place, we will go through a must get worse before it get's better. Anyone who could back this statement would definately ease my mind, no doubt. It feels like I have shaken a foundation within my body right now.

Hi Standswithfist, that "getting worse before you get better" is so ironic but true! It's called Herxheimer Reaction or Healing Crisis or Die-off Effect. It's been posted about a few places on this site -- I've provided a link below. I've been on an Aruyvedic Protocol for the last 2 months and I'm almost symptom-free but I was sicker in the past few months than I was at any time before I started treatment! I've been experiencing severe flu-like symptoms, extreme fatigue & brain fog, stomach issues, headaches, sores getting worse, breaking out in sudden rashes -- and worms pouring out of my body. I guess it's one of those no pain/no gain things -- my symptoms are almost gone. So as weird as it sounds, feeling worse is a GREAT sign! Mary
