Hello Everybody, This is my first post to this Forum and I look forward to your healthy feed back and cooperation, and sincerely hope that this post will be of some help to the sufferers. The only case of Morgellons I have come across, had more to do with the symptoms of the so called Delusional Parasitosis rather than those of Morgellons. The symptoms were characterised by not-easily-visible all body creepy, crawly insect movement feeling at night and body lesions, but practically no fibers, or may be my eyes were not tuned to look for fibers in those days. But nevertheless, the involved insect and its varoius life forms were easily visible in the case even for a naked eye. Any how, the patient got immediate relief in this case, by taking regular bath in water soaking Neem leaf overnight and application of a broad based antibiotic cream over the lesions. The antibiotic used had anti bacterial, antifungal and anti inflamatory combinational properties and was sulphur based. The Neem leaf is also well known for its antibacterial and antifungal properties and it protects the skin for the whole day by a thin covering of the oil it contains. Subsequent studies on voluminous data available at Morgellons Research.Org and the vast amount of patient data and suggested home remedies available at various Internet sites, led me to the conclusion that the insect involved has adapted itself to live under the human skin assisted by some fungi and possibly some worms. Obviously,in the first place, the patient's body should have some immuno deficiency problem caused by some other disease which would have altered the pH value of the blood, allowing the fungi to live on his body. Nevertheless, the problem may be solved by usage of any internal antifungal medicine, since with external application, it is almost impossible to reach all affected parts of the body effectively. After reviewing various home remedies, I feel that the internal use of white vinegar should cure this condition. Vinegar is a food item that is commonly used across the globe for centuries and well known to many people. However, as with any internal medicine, it is better to be careful with the health condition of the patient in this case also and be prepared for any after-effects that may be possible due to the sudden accummulation of fungal/insect waste in the body following its consumption. So, check up with your local health consultant about the suitability and application of vinegar for your body before consuming it. Any feedback on the post is welcome. With regards, Bharathyeju .

I'm going to call you "B" for obvious reasons ;-) I like your post. Thank you. What you have to say makes much sense. Are you a health care professional of any sort? You are obviously well versed in naturopathic medicine and possibly standard as well. Can you recommend specific medication for the fungi? About the vinegar...can you give more specifics on the cons based on personal condition? Years ago I read Dr. Jarvis' book "Vermont Folk Medicine" in which he praised the daily injestion of honey and (Heinz....which then was probably natural and unadulterated) apple cider vinegar. I use white for cleaning, but never for injestion..no particular reason. But some say it is too much of an acid....so I'm glad you brought it up and hope you can add some information regarding this. Thanks so much for your post and I hope you continue here with our family communication. Kritters

I would like to mention, that I always and forever have been washing all my meat with white vinegar before cooking. Recently, I have started using the white vinegar in the rinse cycle of my dish washer. It is far cheaper than the other store bought options. I am still experimenting on skin and wound washes using it.

Welcome to MDR Bharathyeju and thanks for posting, I'm a morgie with fly larvae saturation. I too use vinegar externally, cuz I know it kills fly eggs. I'm staying more acidic than alkaline, because i know these critters thrive in high pH and that they release ammonia to help alkalise the body. Is the white vinegar you recommend, distilled clear malt vinegar (5% acid) or something stronger? cheers Jo xxx

| Hello, Thank you all for your interest in my post. To Carla, Please Never, Never take one glass of Vinegar, it will harm your body. You should not take more than one tablespoon (15ml) of Vinegar mixed with one glass of water twice a day. Do not get panicky, I am sure, with combined efforts we should be able to find a solution to your problem. I will try to get an Ayurveda Doctor enrolled in this Forum. To start with, you may even try with one teaspoon (5ml)of Vinegar, especially if your body has acidity problems. But some people say Vinegar infact produces alkaline effect in the body, even though I do not understand the logic, please search for ' naturedoc dot com plus vinegar ' and read the article Vinegar for Long Life by Shomatsu. You can also search for my name on the net to read more on the logic behind my deduction of usage of vinegar for this case. Since I am new to this Forum, I am not allowed to give direct site names. I have recommended Vinegar since it is widely used world over and thought, most of the people should know about its usage. In India and elsewhere in the world, Vinegar is used for making Pickles. Any edible quality Vinegar should do the job as Vinegar is basically antifungal and in this part of the world we normally use White Vinegar for making Pickles. Ginger Pickles and Garlic Pickles have excellent deworming properties. More than the Vinegar itself, you should be concerned with the increased cleansing load for the body that it may cause due to the sudden increase of fungal waste and other wastes after you take it. My general advice to you all is to take any inernal medicine only after consulting your local health specialist and this case, you can also consult a Ayurveda or a Homeo Doctor. Normally speaking, our body is well equipped to throw away any waste it generates. And to Kritters, I am not any health specialist, I was born and bought up in the lap of Nature in a village atmosphere and Ayurveda, the Indian System of Medicine was simply a way of life for us. We used to go to Allopathy doctors only for emergency cases and for diagnostic help. My role here is to Lend-a-Brain Service, by which I thought, I would be able to give back at least in part something to this world, from which I have overdrawn many resources for my very existence on this planet. Regarding my advice to consider the health status of the patient in the application of Vinegar, I only meant to apply caution on its intake by those who have acidity problems. But the article referred above says vinegar infact has a role to improve alkalinity, a statement to be confirmed though. With warm regards, Yours B.
