Default morgellons treatment

Hi I read yesterday about people using mustard, vick,& yogurt, but it did'nt say whether to rub it on or eat it. I've just been out & bought the stuff so could anyone who had good results let me know what they did & in what quantities.

While I'm here does anyone seem to have raised brown spots on parts of their body, like enlarged protuding freckles which think must be fungus, this is apart from all the other scabs & lesions.

I'm in my 18th year of having Morgellons but have only just noticed this when sitting in sunlight.

Hi SD,

Yes, I have noticed this phenomenon, but I think, at least in my case, it was of viral origin. I really had a whole swathe break out all around my bra line when I first becam ill, what looked like hundreds of small moles. Did this front and back in a nearly straight line about an inch high. These volunteer "moles" followed one of the lines which ring the body in the acupuncture tradition. Since I have taken an antiviral medication now for about nine months most of that is gone. I have also noticed a few on my legs, some of which are still there.

best, tcm

Hi again SD,

In my case I have to suspect that my brown spots were/are more viral in origin than fungal as they are going away now, yet I am not taking anything to treat fungal infections (either surface or internal). I am however on an anti-viral medication. Some of these spots have dried up and flaked off pretty easily. At some point I stumbled across information which links virus infection to fungal infection, so I won't categorically say no fungus is involved as I am sure it may be possible. I think it is worth being tested for reactivated viral infections as most of us at some point have been exposed to viruses. I am finding that using a good probiotic is helping my symptoms lately (in addition to other meds and herbs). I am feeling better on some days (more frequently lately) and have more energy on those days. It is slow progress, but it is progress.

best, tcm
