Hopefully there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!! With the cure of this there will be no more symptom drugs on the television, like Scalpacin!! Oh and new Scalpacin, body and scalp anti itch soap. Yipee back to the old bar of soap for my hair and body, .50 cnt instead of $10.00 to wash. I am so ready for this reduction in taxes. I may just go to this meeting next time.

The next Tampa Bay support group meeting has been moved up to SUNDAY JANUARY 18. The reason for this has to do with the anticipated CDC announcement sometime this month. It will be, once again, at the office of Dr. Reed at:
2605 W. Swann Street, Suite 100, Tampa, FL at 2:00 pm.
Please try to attend, and send this announcement to anyone else who lives in that general area. We MUST unite and organize.
It is not certain at this point, but it is anticipated that several interested doctors will attend the meeting as well. Some were at the first meeting, and it was fantastic to get medical allies in this horror.
Please help this cause by cross posting on other groups, such as Lymebusters (I am not a group member there), etc.

I hate i missed the meeting. i have not been on line in several days, bc my best friend was in town from mississippi...i am really looking forward to joining the group, though...thanks for all you do!

I, my dear, live in the house next to yours!!!! LOL, Tampa bay, land of the tan. Hey sadsack did you see I posted a suggestion of bringing a black light to the meeting to see how many have the fibers on them, also show the doctors a tool to use to test involvment or to judge progression. Its a good idea, make sure you go to the ears, the white stuff lesion noduals somtimes show up under the skin there. You know people also report yellow under the skin, I can see some of it on me, I will do a full close examination to see what else I can find. The small fibers of long ago are gone now, I am no longer covered with this lint looking stuff, not hardly a tiny piece, before it would not barley wash off.

Seriously, there is a woman living next door, who suddenly became reclusive about 3 months after I got sick. She had been working full time, an RN, then suddenly her car never leaves the driveway. I think she is sick, too. Just a gut sense.
But really, do you live in the Tampa Bay area? If so, you SHOULD GO. Bring your black light with you...it'll be interesting.
I didn't see that post...sometimes I just can't get on and I miss stuff.

Some people couldn't come last time because of the change in the meeting date. I have heard from some and they will definitely make it to the next one.
