My guess? Maybe he wants to make sure he knows what he's doing before he takes other Morgs patients on? As I mentioned, when he first saw me, he didn't know what I was coming to him for -- and was reluctant to treat me once I explained Morgellons. (But at least he didn't turn me down, as 9 previous doctors had.) I've already asked 4 times and can't seem to persuade him ... yet. Again, we both approached my treatment as an "experiment."

Re: antibiotics: no, I'm not on any prescription meds now. Several months ago I tried the Dr. H protocol for 2 weeks but stopped b/c it just didn't feel right for me personally. That's when I looked back into Ayurveda again.

Thanks, Maryok. I'm so glad to hear you are not taking antibiotics and doing so well.

I am contemplating when I will go off of them and would like to work with plants local to where I live. I am starting my studies into this.

It just sucks that I can't be of more help to anyone. I am REALLY frustrated about this.

Don't know if this helps but I asked him recently what some of the individual herbs in the mix were used for. I guess, just like with any Morg protocol, the trick is in getting the right combination down. The herbs I'm taking play 3 major roles:

• supporting elimination process
• boosting my metabolism
• strengthening my immune system.

We're all finding products/solutions to help..You can't save the world, although we'd like to - but at least YOU are doing better and I am very thankful for that most people who would find themselves 'better', would be long gone - but not you..you're still here, cheering us on..and being a friend/support system..and who knows?..maybe in a few days that good ole doctor will change his mind...don't let it work you up to the point that you make yourself sick..we all love ya and thanks for being our cheerleader..suzzie

We know that if it was in your power, you would be sending us all the herbs etc to cure us all. You can only do what you can do. It is good to know that ayur helped you. At least we know that they have products that could possibly help us.

I am certain there are things that will help, if not forever cure. Without the 'success' stories, we may all give up and loose hope of a 'normal' (is there such a thing!) life.
So, maybe your doc is right and we all need to seek our own cure, we cannot all take exactly the same prescrip meds and get the same results..................but we can

Like Suzzie said, having your support is a positive for us also. Besides, without you, who would keep us on our ultra-sensitive track

I just stumbled upon an Ayurveda forum at tribes.net. Of particular interest is a thread they have going on dermatitis and Ayurveda -- wonder if they're talking about Morgellons?
