 Re: Artmenisin and avoiding reinfection Unclear, People spread this too, and it does not necessarily just come from birds (did not know birds could spread it too). It is highly contagious and can cause walking pneumonia, asthma, and bronchitis (think there were other infections too). So it is not just parrots or birds which spread it. And BTW, it is a different chlamydia from that which causes STDs. tcm
