I agree with Milly what I take is to build up the immune system as well. I have much improvemnt than before, so I have no complaints. My medicines were pioneered on Dr Harvey himself as he too has Morgellons Disease. I am betting he threw whatever he could at it, so has an idea how to fight it. (he got himself and Dr. martz out of wheelchair, and may others including making his own bedridden wife more functional although he could not cure her. I would not be surprised if Jason's doctor was trained by him, he did make a trip to Europe to do just that. Now he is doing research to streamline treatment by narrowing down what these parasites are, dna sequencing them as well with a professioanl team. Some herbs like Black cumin oil or Nigella Sativa, repair damage to the body and actually help medicines work better by repairing damage to the body, it is a BRM. If I worried excessively (saftey is always an isssue) about the treatment I am getting and the herbs I take (I do research them first) I would be in sorry shape. Overall, been doing well myself and quite happy with my results so far, (LC).

Here's my 2 cents:

"They" know what to give because the doctors who have been studying this disease have performed blood tests and taken biopsy specimens and cultures. They have found pathogens in these tests and have prescribed the proper medications to get rid of them. Yes, the treatment is trial and error, but the playing field has been narrowed down considerably and several prescription medications have been working.

Two more cents:

The door swings both ways.

Lumping all doctors together into one category and labeling them all as bad is not any better than lumping all Morgellons patients together and labeling them all as delusional.

There are some sympathetic and empathetic doctors who ARE willing to help folks with Morgellons. Many of the doctors who are trying to help have found themselves attacked by the very people they were trying to help as well as being attacked by mainstream medicine. These docs are standing up for what is right and trying to do what they can to treat Morgellons symptoms while learing about the disease in the process. It is simply not fair to expect any doctor to walk in with all of the answers. We do not need arrogant know-it-alls. We need doctors who are willing to roll up their sleeves and figure this thing out....there are some out there helping.

Also, it has gotten to the point where some of the members of this forum who ARE taking medications and seeing doctors are reluctant to post because their treatment approach sparks negativity. Discouraging a person from treating their illness no matter what treatment approach they use is the last thing that should happen.

Thanks Bubba, for the record my post above was in relation to doctors in general - the minority of ones helping and making strides towards curing this disease i have the upmost respect for.

I am one of those people that would prefer to email yourself (and my doctor) in regards to advice on your experiences with the antibiotic protocol as i am on a similar one and have tended away from posting publicly on this issue because i think a majority here would have the opinion that people treating this with antibiotics are acting irrationally.

On the flip side it seems the norm to pluck any website off the net that has not been medically or scientifically peer reviewed and could have been written by any old man from down the pub and that person could have possibly shown us the answer to where Morgellons come from. Go figure.....

I know i will get negative feedback on this post but i don't care any more i am feeling better than ever and i am at work doing 40 hours a week, 6 months ago i struggled walking around the street and felt like sleeping 24 hours a day not to mention the rest of the sh#t that comes with this.

Jason, I am truly happy for you, I really am my protocol is much like yours. I support your decison 100 percent. Working! So happy for you! I am almost there. If it seems like we have had some differences I apologize, I do not. Understand the way I was infected why will take a longer time for me. All the bugs on my head in the beginning, must have been hundreds of bites and the evil insects pumping this disease into me. But I think we each find our own path in getting well. Many do not know this, but the MRF IS supportive of natural care and doctors which do natural care as well as traditional care. (LC)

Totally agree LC i can't wait for the day i can use natural means. Rather looking forward to using Samento, Cumanda etc. Expensive though! Can't beat the price on the good ole Generic antibiotics!!

Definitely no differences i hold no grudges with anyone!! I wish everyone on this forum gets better sooner rather than later!

Me too Jason. I think why people have misunderstanding is because most of opinions are formed by what they know personally about the disease which is most natural. If you would like any cheap links for herbs I can search see what dig up. I would be more than happy to private message hyperlinks to whatever you desire. I sell nothing, it is ones own personal choice what they would like to use.I also request those who wish to choose what use do diligent research to ensure their own safety, as I am no guru or doctor. WEll that surprizes me that people are feeling intimidated here about posting they are on anti biotics. That s just not right!!

We all are just trying to get better and the last thing we need is judgement . On the other hand we need to be educated on exactly what anti biotics do so you can offset the negative affect of them .

Its a personal choice we all have to make on how to treat this.
Thanks Bubba for the informative post . It does sound like these docs do have more of an idea how to treat then I had thought . Thats great news !
And Im so happy for people getting better no matter what treatment they choose!

Should I be intimidated about posting about my antibiotic protocol etc..?.. it's working and surely it's good to share and let anyone who is interested to know about it. I know I am very lucky that at the moment my GP (general practitioner) not sure if that's what you have in the States, is prescribing the antis I need and I get them on the National Health Service, so don't have to pay for them... tho' that may not last...

Obviously I pay for any alternative meds and samento, cumanda etc.. and of course Docs appointments, all the bath stuff, epsom salts, KleenGreen, Hydrogen peroxide, bug off , MSM lotion and so on.... it's a constant run on the funds...as everyone knows..and a constant struggle..

all the nice extras of life, holidays, smellies, pretty clothes trips to the cinema etc are all on the back burner for a while, maybe a long while lol...;<( but we'll get there I know... Milly x

ps friski.... of course we would all rather not be on antibiotics... they do have unpleasant side effects and if you are not careful do damage to the liver, gut and so on... but you can protect yourself with probiotics etc.... it's a bit like chemo... you would rather not have that, but it's better than the cancer, and in our case if antis help that's better than letting morg get an increasing hold... the best of a bad job...i guess..
