Parasites HATE Vinegar

Hi all,
When I was in my 20's I read a book called, "Vermont Folk Medicine" by Dr. Jarvis which it seems has been around forever. He stressed a glass of water with honey and apple cider vinegar daily for good health. When my kids had any of those (post nasal drip) tickly coughs that wouldn't quit, I used his remedy of a tsp. of ACV and a tsp. of honey mixed together. My kids hated the taste, obviously, but took it willingly as it stopped the cough in its tracks. Funny, in the book it stressed 'Heinz' and I'm thinking that was possibly the first company that made it, but doubtful. I buy organic natural at the healthfood store. Lately I have added a droplet to my usual liter of boiled and cooled water, with about a 1/4 C. of green tea, and another dropper of hydro peroxide with a few granules of salt. I figure I have it covered with that since I stopped buying the hydraded, powder greens for a while (very expensive).

I really think blood chemistry (keeping it mostly alkaline) is key for all illness, and if your blood is acidic, your immune system is compromised. Mine was when I first got these lesions. They're almost gone now, thank goodness.

I have that book. It is upstairs with all of my Adelle Davis, Linda Clark, Earl Mindell, Diet for A Small Planet, herbs, etc books. Back from the days of wheatgrass and growing my own sprouts.... Funny how you have the knowledge, but you forget to even use it or refer back to it when you need it. I looked at the 'mother" ACV's at the health food store the other day and was going to buy it, but was not sure if it was all that much better than the Heinz that I have!!!
Do you use the food grade H2O2? It seemed expensive to me. I have been making "smoothies" every morning using eother pineapple and pineapple yogurt or strawberries and bananas with strwberry yogurt with wheat germ,coconut oil and Earth's Promise supplement. I would use a protien powder, but the docs have restricted it because of the kidney problems with the other disease I have. I felt pretty good today- for a change.
I am trying real hard to get alkaline also and have been doing the salt and vit C and bakibg soda every day.
I think you are totally right on the immune system thing.

Hey Linda!
How interesting that people who are obviously into health and awareness are the ones delving into this situation because we are so aware of our bodies.

I go with raw and organic just as a knee jerk reaction these days, and any company now that is major is questionable, in my opinion. For all we know, Heinz has been bought out by Exxon, so........just fuel for thought
