| Thanks hurtin, I just got a steamer that is suppose to kill dust mites at 240 degree temps. I have been cleaning all day. Interesting when I usual clean the floors downstairs I have to do twice because of the pet odor this thing nixed it. It kills bacteria and most molds. I purchased it because I have become chemically sensitive to any cleaners do to the my mold exposure. I have a very old article on something very interesting about dust mites and parasitic wasp. I will locate it and send it too you. Cyn ![]() ![]()

| (quote) I have a very old article on something very interesting about dust mites and parasitic wasp. I will locate it and send it too you. Would love to read it Cyn..... Yes ,,,a steamer ought to blast the life out of "em!!!,,,,as well as sanitize too... An all around ,,good thing to have... Its very important to make sure you get surfaces dry afterward(wipe down,,fan,,ect.),,as steamed water has nothing in it(chlorine) to prevent further bacterial growth,,and this "clean water" actually can become a very good growth medium for bacteria.. You can figure it to aquarium water that has it chlorine removed..We know how fast algae, and other can grow in an aquarium if left untreated,,same thing if left just standing... I am finding more uses for the pool shock too,,,mixed up in a spray bottle,,does wonders to kill critters too..works on thier book lungs..... I just discovered another great "pool product",,that may help us big time... But gotta do a little more research on it,,,but so far sounds promising... Another hidden goldmine???? Hope so,,,more later................. |
