Lyme report from CDC

Here is an automated update that I received from the CDC's MMWR service this afternoon regarding Lyme Disease.

Wow. Underwhelming to say the least. The only thing I found of interest was under the "Discussion" heading and read as follows:

In certain states, especially those in the southeastern United States, Lyme disease surveillance is complicated by the occurrence of southern tick-associated rash illness, a condition that can resemble early Lyme disease but is not caused by B. burgdorferi (24--26).

Hi Morgan,

Thanks for posting that.

Graphs (Figures) 5 & 6 show the months of onset of lyme symptoms. Very striking rise in June/July.

Useful, I'll add it to the survey to see if it corresponds to onset of morgellons symptoms for those who know when they became infected.
