posting links

Hi,

This is a little embarrassing, but I seem to be having a problem posting links.
Can someone direct me on where to go to find out what the hec I need to do?

I have trouble posting links to forum threads anywhere because I'm a teckno-neanderthal. So I do it the old-fashioned way, which I'm sure you know, but will tell you anyway just in case. Get out of your post or post reply, go back to the thread. Google the website you want. Right click on web address. Choose 'copy' in the dropdown. Go back to your MDR thread, open a reply post, write your post, go to edit, select 'paste' and post the link where you want it.

Yes and
If you want your link to be accesible(by just clicking it),,or in other words,,have an ACTIVE link,,,,,use the INSERT LINK drop box,,,to paste your url link in,,,

Determine WHERE you want to put your link in your post(as above),,,act as though you are going to just paste it at the location you have selected,,,then click the little blue globe(just under the non-colored smjley at the top....


A drop box will appear,,,and then PASTE you link in it,,and hit OK

Thats it....

You can also insert images the same way by using the insert image

As an amazing feat I've managed to post a link. I tried right clicking the blue blob, got the drop down list, tried paste, could not see an okay, so could not manage this.

Oh yeah Sojii,,it is supposed to be like a picture of a CHAIN,,,you know like LINKS in a chain...
The one you speak of simply removes links of your choosing when you have posted ,,say,,maybe a non-working link,,to a non-working site or such..

They are kinda small eh? Not really big enough to make out that it looks kinda like these>>

I dont know Isadora,,you should see an OK box,,and a cancel box,,in the drop down..
You might try the "switch editor mode",,on the upperright to see if that has any effect,,if you encounter this again...
Your link did however become active,,so I dont know how you did it...but YEEEEAH!!
