My computer is a MAGICAL BOX !

There are wonderful, happy things inside it.

Sometimes, when I open my computer
I find out that you have been to visit me,
And sent me something special to remember you by.

And, sometimes, you are still THERE, when I open my computer!

Even my childhood friends drop by now and then to say “hi!”
And some of them I haven’t seen in twenty-five years.

All my favorite photos of family, friends, pets, trips, and vacations
Are inside folders on my computer where I can look through them.

Anytime I have a question about something, someone, or someplace,
I always ask My Computer first, and read up about it “on the web.”

My Computer will play with me whenever I want,
any time of the day or night.

I can talk around the world on my computer.
I can talk to my oldest friends,
I can talk to my dearest friends,
I can talk to my family.
I can talk to YOU!

It instantly keeps my memories at the click of a button,
And then instantly finds them with the click of another.

What could BE MORE *MAGICAL* than that?

I left you a comment at your blog...great poem...at least your critters are inspiring....ha...mine....well they inspire me to do very bad things...they have left me with anger management issues...they make me so mad I could hurt something or somebody...no, just critters, really...and ex-husbands...

believe it or not that's the 1st one i've written about them i, too, have a bunch of poems written over the years. i started at 13yrs old & got zillions. even submitted some to greeting card companies to no avail. just got rejection letters. i have had some published in some minor, outta the way places tho. gladja liked it

Dr. Beverly...how cute...reminds me of Romper Room....and I see Brenda, and Mary, and Melissa, and Kentucky, and Stands, and Lady C., and I see Bubba, and Carla, and Franky, and Linda, and Mindy...and...Philly, and I could go on...I bet most are going...what the hell is Romper Room? Really, sounds like a kid's book on computers and emails...funny...and you narrating it....my,my, we amuse ourselves so very easily, don't we?...
