Default Twas brillig indeed

Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll

Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought—
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! and through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

Hi tcm,

I have friends that talk "jabberwockey". We have great fun sitting around the camp fire and sharing stories!

You put a smile on my face, even if the story is kinda scary.

Yeah, Jonsi, you gotta love Jabberwocky, even if the theme is a bit frightening. Your friends sitting around the camp fire sound like a fun bunch to hang with and jabber among on dark starry nights. These days the poem about the Jabberwocky seems the perfect metaphor for the Morgellons organism. Then, too, this poem says so much about what we know about Morgellons at the same time. A perfect poem for this disease. And yes, it makes me smile too.

An exemplary and apropos metaphor in song.

Man, Alice and the cat scared me when I was a kid.

Maybe I need to watch the movie again!

I have to say that "morgellons" doesn't scare me anymore...

I don't think anyone believes me when I say that I had "M" to the point where I could barkleywalk, was ready to outsymyself, fibers all over, dungedounder blue/red, blackiesparkflecs, personalkiltee with othersonmyassbee cuz they didn't understand me.

I will get by, a touch of gray:
