I'm posting this for 'time2heal'

Dear Friends and Family,

Would you please join me in a very specific prayer request this week? If you would carry it to your churches, and let it live in your hearts intensely this week, I believe God will honor our prayer, in His own amazing and incredible way.

Very brief background - I have Morgellons Disease, which is an unrecognized, misdiagnosed group of symptoms, somehow related to Lyme, currently thought to be "delusional" by the traditional medical system. Morgellons is being investigated by the CDC, and results were expected at the beginning of this year. This investigation appears to have come to a dead end, but there are sprouts of recognition of the disease peeking out on many fronts. Specifically, a segment on "The Doctors", entitled "Hidden Medical Dangers" which aired on national television July 9th has cast light a bright light on this mysterious illness. The story that the woman named Crystal in this segment tells closely reflects my own. Please lift this prayer, not mentioning the name of the institution if you are one who with whom I've shared it. Feel free to use my name if you feel it might encourage others to share in this week of intense prayer.

Lord, we give you thanks and praise for the wonderful way you are bringing Morgellons Disease into the light. Father, you know that a well known and well respected research hospital has been invited to get a personal glimpse of this disease to further uncover its mysteries. We pray, Lord, that you would move them to action. Let them see the intense need and the sci-fi nightmare Morgellons sufferers are living, and move the physicians and researchers to care enough to accept the invitation to discover more. Activate what motivates them, Father, whether it be the desire to lead in the forefront of emerging knowledge, or the willingness to be messengers of healing in our world. Push them, jostle them, make them inquiet in their spirits, Lord, so they have no choice but to work toward understanding. Gracious God, we thank you for the answers which we know you will provide, in Your time, in Your way. You are a God whose power is beyond our comprehension, and we praise your Holy Name.

Okay, well that got kind of long Here's a shorter version: Please pray that a well known research hospital will accept the invitation to get a personal glimpse of Morgellons Disease by visiting our home, in the very near future, before all environmental evidence is cleaned up.

Thanks, Katinka! For some reason, I couldn't get the note to post this morning, and wanted it up before I went to church. So glad I went this morning; I have a deep conviction that God is mightily at work in all of this for us. Every song this morning touched my soul and flooded my heart with joy. God is awesome!!!

The note and prayer you posted for me went out on Saturday to my friends all over the world. We have had the privilege of living for twelve years in four countries of Europe, plus have relocated in the US nine times. My friends from each place have dispersed to even further across the globe.

The invitation for the research hospital to investigate in our home is a short term offer. We plan to chlorinate our well in the near future, which will destroy available water samples. We are planning to soon release "hypoaspis mites" into our outdoor 1 1/2 acre wooded environment to eliminate the springtails, especially around our home where we have shredded mulch which may have been springtail infested when we put it in. As a final measure, we are looking into tenting the house, a pest control technique used in warmer climates to deprive the home of oxygen so nothing can live inside. Our main floor bathroom where the original springtails emerged (through cracked grouting along the wall of overmoist ground due to a clogged gutter) has been gutted and refinished.

So, please pray with me that they'll care enough to come now. This hospital did a thorough evaluation of my symptoms, and although I don't have a written summary yet from the specialists I saw, the strong insinuation was that they were leaning toward a "DOP" diagnosis. For all of us, to stop this madness and their unbelievable willingness to label us as "delusional" when it's science who doesn't know. . .please pray with me. . .intensely. . .this week. The world really isn't flat.

Interesting. I can't get my house "tented" without a sample which I have provided when I could see them, my vision is going quickly. I need a permit from the "state" that has to be confirmed by the Chemical/Extermination Company..arrrrgggghh.
I swear every exterminator I spoke to knew something and they all disappeared shortly afterwards . It's amazing how many people will not answer your calls when you throw reality in their faces. I would be leery of introducing more mites to kill the springtails only because I think this is one of the reasons that we are tortured by Collembola (springtails) in the first place.

Hey guys,

I'm feeling a major letdown here. Maybe this is why I've been posting on the other forum for the past few months. Why do we reply to conspiracy theories and get excited about all kinds of intense investigations being shared. . .yet we're unable to say an "I'm with you, sister" to someone who is intensely appealing to a power greater than our own? If you could see what God has been doing in my life lately, you would be amazed at how I've been changed into someone who can think again, who feels joy, who loves people again, who believes in God's power and possibilities. I can sing again, and its been years since music has bubbled out of my soul.

There are jumping white and black specks in our drains - how about in yours? Anybody else thinking about chlorinating? Do you remember the first Morgellons Research Study found Morg fibers in wells?

Lamb, thanks so much for at least replying to me! Yes, there is a danger in releasing more mites into the environment. But there is, for me, more of a danger in the Springtails (collembola) inhabiting my feet. The pitch of our shower left standing water in it, and we all know what springtails need to breed. . .the floor was ripped out today, and the pitch corrected. But I have shredded mulch all around the huose; most likely springtail infested mulch. The danger of pesticides is, I believe, worse than the danger of well researched mite that dies off quickly and eats springtails.

I haven't looked into tenting yet; it's on my contractor's list. We don't accept "it can't be done", rather ask if there is a measureable benefit that significantly outweighs the risk factors. I don't know if we'll go that route or not, but I have all the dishes from my kitchen in crates in the family room because "specks" keep appearing in my cupboards; within a few hours of being washed out, more are back. We sealed the wood and grouted the edgesand corners, but this has not solved the problem. Traditonal pest control hasn't been willing to address this problem, so we're checking the options.

Come on out there; couldn't we use a mighty hand of power about now? Let's reach for it, together!

Yea!!! Katinka for your great prayer post!! It was great; you always are there to help us all. I am with you sisters!!!! Many prayers sent your way to help you and your loved ones make the best decisions and arrangements possible. Also, my sympathies to you dealing with the strategically-placed DOP rhetoric, used now and historically as a political agenda to attack whatever religion, disease or situation that a certain group wish to manipulate for whatever ends; be that for intimidation, financial gain..etc.. Awareness of it's place in the situation is a big step. Knowing intentions brings light to a problem such as this, that has dragged us down throughout history.
We do need to support and love each other, no matter what divides us.. And know that our prayers do have an affect and are answered. And I loved how the music spoke to you; your faith being answered.

I am with you Sister on this journey as Dante-esque (The Human Comedy- 1400's) as it seems to be.
Get rid of the mulch, that's how my labrador got it and gave it to me. She is on mega meds and I am praying like crazy for solution. Dog is better today, human doctors think I am "out there". You are soooo right about the "springtails" !! In my home, "that's what it's all about". I have done everything.... the only thing that helps are the enzymes.

Another "Godthing" in my email inbox today:

I suscribe to "A Positive Minute from the Hour of Power", by Dr. Robert Schuller from the Crystal Cathedral in California, which delivers powerful doses of daily "strength" to my email inbox daily. Today's message made me smile, actually laugh out loud, because its verse is one I've been thinking about to share with you all. I knew that the verse would be encouraging to us, but thought I would have to try to find the chapter and verse before I posted it, as I'm not so good at knowing Biblical references.

Anyway, look what popped up in my "Hour of Power" inbox today:


"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us."
– Ephesians 3:20

Isn't this a cool verse - just right for right now? He (God!) can do more than we ask or imagine. . .according to His power. . .at work in us!!!

Friends, I'd like to post a challenge for us all.
We need to get the word out about Morgellons, so that it becomes a household "mystery", one that everyone knows about and is talking about. People will need to connect "Morgellons" with a face they know in order to spread the word. Can you share what's happening to you. . ."come out of the closet" so to speak? It won't be easy. If my experience is any indication, some people will be afraid and step back from you. But others will really step up; believe it.

Here's a method that might work to get you started:




1) Scroll up to the first "Intense Prayer Request" I posted.

2) Copy/paste that onto a blank email.

3) Edit my story to reflect yours.

4) Send it out to everyone you know and trust.

. . .Pray and watch as God works "more than we can ask or imagine". . .
