| Well, we have survived this "morgellons" disease and are ready for the next chapter. A few years ago I could barely stand up and was ready for the wheel-chair. My skin crawled, my hair bit me, stuff flew through the air and attached to my skin, foot callouses, nail fungi, slugs in menses, poop, and buggars, depressions, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, you name it, I know "Morgellons" is real! I'm feeling good now. My 10 year old daughter is doing well too. ************************************************** ** Next chapter: We are attending a Rainbow Family Gathering this weekend. The Gathering is 10 miles away from my families cabin in the Jemez Mountains in northern NM. I'm looking forward to showing my daughter how simple life can be. We are prepared to hike in a few miles in carrying 30 pound back packs and pushing a wheel-barrow full of oranges and other food to share. This is a gathering of perhaps >60,000 people that have no structure or leader to control them. But members include doctors, lawyers, sociologists, etc... I will post videos next. In the white light, ~joni They celebrate life.

| I am green with Envy Jonsi. Have a brilliant time.I would love to get away from the electrical smog that is everywhere now. I've heard people have been curing their childrens' Autism by getting them away from all the electrical interference. I want to live in a house like this A Low Impact Woodland Home |
| |||
| This little woodlands house is cute and quaint Carla. I am often glad though that I did not live in the times when this type of primitive building was all there was. There are some folks in the US building homes into hillsides with grass and dirt on the roof. Still if you have allergies, especially to mold and grasses, it loses its appeal. I am so glad I never had to live in a totally sod house with a dirt floor on the prairie, surrounded by tall grasses and later wheat crops. I imagine some of the folks who died young while living in them had some of the same immune system problems I do. Anyway, Jonsi, I hope you and your daughter have a great time this coming weekend. You all sound quite fit to carry such enormous backpacks while pushing a loaded wheelbarrow!

| Sounds like my kinda thing, just be on the lookout for the little dear ticks. It is so bad where I run that I have to inspect myself all the time, if it is heavy woods wear light colored bottoms so you can see them, dark cloths and you will never see them. |

| Hey everyone! HEY THERE! my hippie-chick girlfriend!! take me with you! i'm so happy for you that nat and you are doing good! it is such a struggle trying to deal with this on your own but i would rather have this ten times worse than to see my children or anyone else's! have to go thru this for even a day! have a great time(i know you will) and that's awesome! Love Ya!!! Robin |

| Thanks you guys! Baraka we don't have deer ticks here in New Mexico! I have been camping all of my life and the last tick I saw was in 1970 on a girl scout hike. It was huge! (mosquitoes, yes!)But, I got bit by a spider back in 2003 twice on my stomach. I never found the spider but I had two huge (size of grapefruits) red marks surrounded by a white circle. They swelled about 1/4 tall, but flat on top... similar to a mesa. I have often wondered if the spider bites contributed to my "Morgellons". tcm, in Taos, NM they build the most amazing houses called "earthships" using old tires, aluminum cans, glass bottles, etc... Taos, New Mexico vacation rental by owner: 1 bedroom Earthship House rental that sleeps 6. Earthship: Experience Sustainable Living at the Sol Ship (loved your house Carla!) paddel! tomahawk? yoo-hoo! Actually, I have been to similar gatherings (called "boogies") in North Carolina in the Smoky Mountains. Absolutely beautiful. The boogie is held during Memorial weekend and I loved the soft rain, the fog at sunrise, the beautiful bluegrass music (of course I carried my fiddle around with me), the openness and love shared by everyone, and the respect everyone shared for each other and Mother Earth. Peace and love. ~jonsi

| Natalie and I went to the closest (20 miles away in Espanola, NM) Wal-Mart tonight to buy a pup-tent for our Rainbow trip. Did you know they don't make those anymore? We ended up with a 5' x 6' dome tent that's about 3' tall! Considering I am 5'10" it's going to be a tight fit. We are going to back pack in tomorrow afternoon so we will be able to join the circle for peace at sunrise, Saturday morning. Where the Gathering will be in 2009 I'll post more about our trip when we get home on Sunday. And now I'm going to make a post on for heart, for fun. Sorry, I didn't mean to stop that thread with this one. In the white light, ~jonsi

| Interesting house Jonsi, but I wonder how they handle the out gassing from the rubber tires? I know that is a problem with rubber mulch made from tires when used in hot climates. Another thing I would have problems with in this particular house would be the planter using grey water. I can just feel the mold spores rising. LOL. Honestly, I think that having mold allergies is the worst type of allergy as mold is found everywhere. In nearly all foods, in one way or another. In the air, on books, in closets etc. It is impossible to avoid. This is why I keep hoping for a new way to correct the immune systems of people so that they can be healthier overall. Probably won't happen as long as there are new drugs to make and sell. Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful time camping in that beautiful dry climate. I often think being in a drier and higher climate would be helpful to those with mold allergies though I realize that even in the desert climate there is mold. Still it would be less of a load. I once spent a week (some years ago) in Sierra Vista, AZ and felt so much better.
