friski that's cute. But i have to admit that single movie scared the hell out of me as a kid. It still gives me the chills every time I see it. Then when i heard it was based on a true story, it just made matters worse. ![]()

Nice to watch some fictitious horrors instead of our own every so often. Seriously: Horror films are great sometimes. I liked "Nightmare on Elm Street". the original was actually scary, at least to me when I was like 10 years old. Another really bad movie that was so bad we laughed our tails off around this time was a low-budget flick called "Mother's Day". This was a mid-Eighties yarn about three women who went on a girlie retreat in the Pine Barrens and you'll see. Not so much gore as some but it was so twisted and sick you had to laugh that someone came up with this idea. "Carrie" and "The Shining" never go out of style in my mind. And speaking of being infected, you may have liked "28 Days Later", horror-scifi British film from a few years ago.

28 days later is a great film. A man wakes from a coma to find London deserted except for a few infected people out to get him. An old one that`s as scary as any modern Horror is Misery. This is down to amazing acting more than effects.Recommended Film. Another good British film is the zombie comedy "Sean of the Dead"
