I loved the muppets too. My favourites were Animal (the drummer) and the bird thing with the bent beak .Gonzo I think he was called .

This was before my time, but I think they aired reruns for years after. Stick with it. It's sort of fascinating and horrifying, kind of like Morgellons.

I thought I saw every one, but my daughter was born in 1970 so I see some of the writers did shrooms a tad since then. Seriously freaky. It's no wonder kids are the way they are today. Nice hair!
