Movie recommendations

Yay, our new Members' Lounge Board. Guess I'll be the first to post.

My hubby and I are members of Netflix, so we get to view around eight movies monthly. I really like their plan and having the movies come in the mail is so convenient.

Here are some of my favorites so far:
Akeelah and the Bee, Tristan & Isolde, The Lake House, Life Is Beautiful (Italian subtitles and very emotional), Love Comes Softly, Love's Enduring Promise, Love's Long Journey, End of the Spear, Something the Lord Made, & Everything Is Illuminated.

I have been a member of netflix for over 3 months now and totally love it. I am a huge movie buff and cant get enough of good movies, esp horror movies. Its cheap and pretty fast with the deliveries of the new movies.

I agree Franky -but I am a "sucker" for romances. "While you were sleeping", "You've got mail" and "My best friends wedding" are all favorites. Funny, sappy, romantic, and just plain entertaining. many many others........ but the idea is the same. An escape from the pain and the frustration of this disease. everything helps

Why do I become a instant "sucker" for romances when I am with a girl too? Its a very weird phenomenal thing that happens every so often to me.

Because, you're a gentleman, who wants to please his girl.
Just when my hubby thinks he's in for a boring ride with a chick flick, he ends up liking it just as much as I do. I think romance flicks stir up the sensitive, feminine side in him.

Its funny but a girl who i see on the regular actually made me take my pic down. When she saw this site get so much popular she wanted me to take it down. Odd I say!

So does netflix make you return the movies or do you keep them? How much is it? Thanks
