hey, Coolbeans, Frisk!

I buy Newman's own organic coffee. I'm hoping one day he'll find out how much of his products I buy and will deliver some in person. (I'll just close my eyes and picture him in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" etc. (hey not that I'm exactly a child star myself)

A cop on the take, of course

I KNOW! Being a global mobile mod probably has a way of making one responsible and careful. (glad I'm not one...I like to play )

Better stop being bad now, Carla may have to step in and be a good

One thing I wanted to add about drinking coffee is that even though its acidic I still test alkaline even after a couple of cups . I dont know if its the stevia i add or because its organic. Ive tried to give it up a few times but Im just not as happy without it and really need it to wake up in the morning.Moderation is key I beleive.

That's interesting, Frisk. Good to know, actually. I like a good cup o joe also and always have the guilts knowing it's acidic. I HATE stevia in it (tastes like licorice) so I put some agave in (which is still eventually glucose, I know) or splenda (which I know is probably just as bad as any other substitute, but tastes good...I just can't be PERFECT you know?? ) Some things are acidic like lemon, but in your body they are alkaline. There is so much negative info regarding the evil of drinking coffee, I sometimes wonder if it's not just bad information passed down. Maybe it is that it's organic that eliminates the acidity the toxins add. I mean people in Europe have been drinking coffee for aeons.

Everything in moderation, I say. I'm going to have my coffee and drink it too

I know its hard to get use to , the stevia i didnt like it at first at all esp in coffee but i like it now. You only use a very tiny amount or it taste real bitter with a bite. Agave would be my next best choice........I think its even ok for diabetics. But morgs really seems to feed off of sugars so better to go easy. The crawling gets worse for me if I use splenda too.

I gave up coffee for 2 weeks and was fine and then with the holidays, I went back to 1 cup per day or less. I started getting it at Whole Foods and the stevia is an acquired taste, but I love my coffee.
