That's one of my favorite sites; been going there for like ten years, since I started on the Web. You can find a city cam for anywhere in the world. Just type in your hometown, your university, chances are someone has a cam out there. Long before the days of YouTube. Visit any resort in the world virtually..see the dorky clothes people in the street are wearing. Here are some good ones. (Beware of the time differences. Most don't work that well at night)

Thanks, Evdown!

Glad to have an earthcam pro on board. Thanks for the heads up about the day/night problem, too. Here are some sites that tackle the same subject with different styles of representation:

David's Emporium
The light blue represents the regions of daylight. He also shows the position of the moon and provides some other links that you might find interesting (this one has a time clock by Yugo Nakamura that's incredible--if it isn't visible, then you might need to scroll down a little).

Earth and Moon viewer
presents the earth initially in the Living Earth view. You may update the image by clicking another radial button (my favorite is NASA visible earth because it shows the city lights) before clicking the "update" button. Also, you can choose to see the earth from the moon view, which shows only the portions of the earth where the moon would be visible. Additionally, you have your choice of satellite views and other options too numerous to list here. For most options to take effect, just click the "update" button.

Wold Time Zone
shows a time zone representation of the earth and even shows countries observing Daylight Savings Time.

World Time Zone clock
shows lists of current local times around the world. Click on Dubai city, for example, and you will get weather details, when the sun will rise and set, and other interesting information.

Hope you all enjoy this.

Late edit: updated information to include more links and generally cleaned up the writing a little
