| You know sojii, I think a pessimist is a realist and that is why stastically they are more often right than wrong. Modern medicine changes its tune every other year regarding what's good and what's not. First it's good , than it's not. I think a person just has to live in moderation and that is key. I remember reading where happy ppl live longer. Now they don't. Remember when coffee was so bad? Now it is a deterrent for prostrate cancer; 6 cups a day.

| Posey, you're so right; pessimists are more realistic, and don't become as upset when things go badly. We tend to think every silver lining has a cloud and rather than be too upset when things go wrong, we're pleasantly surprised when things go right. Personally, I kind of enjoy being a curmudgeon. Dzana, any hot drink or very cold drink first thing in the morning causes your intestines to move. Coffee more so (in the long run it can be constipating, though) and if you put real sugar in it, it works even faster. I LOVE my coffee! Apple juice is supposed to work as well, but I'd never give up my java. |
